He is Campaign Director for the World Diabetes Day campaign, a role he assumed in 2005 for the first year-long campaign: ‘The IDF Year of the Foot’. Led by Phil, the World Diabetes Day campaign team were awarded the MIXX Award in 2007 for Best European New Media Campaign.Phil was a member of the project management team that drove Phase 1 of the Unite for Diabetes campaign, which resulted in the passage of United Nations Resolution 61/255 in December 2006.
