Mark Batterson pastor in Washington, DC who wrote the book Draw The Circle ( The 40 Day Prayer Challenge ) says his batting average in prayer is no better than yours. He just asks for more, more often. A.S.K. = "Ask...Seek...Knock..." Those are Jesus Christ's words not mine. These are my personal encounters. 069 Being Intentional
26/03/2020 Duración: 06minAre you being intentional? By planning ahead and setting short and long term goals for what you want to happen in your daily life, career and ministry, you're able to stay focused and stay on track. Your staff and students need to know what is expected of them in advance, for example, before leaving on a trip. It's your job to give them that information. Parents want to know, in advance, the itinerary of the students while they're away. This gives them confidence and security that their kids will be cared for while they're gone. Planning ahead and letting everyone know what to expect is always better than just "winging it." Be intentional in all you do!

068 Life Changing Trips
25/03/2020 Duración: 18minListen as Doug shares his insight on taking students on winter ski retreats and summer mission trips. Structured youth camps and conferences are fun but consider planning winter ski retreats and summer mission trips where you get to be outside and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation as you serve. Safety is key so don’t go it alone. Always use an organization that knows the area you’re going to and student safety is a priority. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for the students to bring their friends that normally wouldn’t go with them. This episode is packed with great information so check it out.
