While "pro-life" certainly encompasses the issue of abortion, a pro-life issue is any that deals with the the devaluation of life in some way as to deprive someone of life, regardless of age. Today, we will deal with a present situation involving the hospitalization and consequent tragedy of 13 year-old Jahi McMath, a young girl who has been declared brain dead by hospital doctors. However, she survives on life support, and her family is fighting to keep her on life support and transported to an alternate care facility while the hospital and even a judge has ordered the removal of all life-sustaining medical care. Walter Hoye, from Issues4Life Foundation, will be our guest today to discuss how the Jahi McMath case provides the pro-life community with the opportunity to communicate the overall pro-life viewpoint.
