  • TLFR: Why Kidnap Baby Braelon? The story behind state seizures of newborns.

    17/06/2016 Duración: 01h53min

What does it take to remove a planned and wanted newborn baby from the hospital?  Two ingredients:  the mother must be a rape victim, and the State must have no paper trail.  Apparently, that is all it took for authorities to forcibly take Baby Braelon from his mother's arms shortly after birth.  On TLFR today, we will be interviewing the custodial grandmother of the mother of Baby Braelon and two witnesses to the events that took place when the baby was seized, Juda Myers and Terri LaPoint.  We will focus on the possible reasons for the seizure and what we can learn about the medical ethics violations involved that enabled this to happen. We will also discuss the trial and conviction of Stanford student and rapist Brock Turner.  Why was his defense so laden with lies?  What is it about his case that has everyone upset, yet strangely not upset enough?

  • Life in the 2016 Presidential Election

    05/06/2016 Duración: 01h08min

Today, we discuss the pro-life implications and ramifications of a Hillary or a Trump presidency.  Hillary Clinton has a well-known political agenda, and the outlook under a(nother) Clinton White House is worth discussing, even if predictable.  A Donald Trump presidency has far more uncertainty as far as policy goes, and controversy over his potential leadership grows every day.  How is a pro-life voter supposed to weigh the candidates?  Given the wild-card nature of Trump, do the old rules even apply anymore?  Letitia and Thomas discuss what every pro-life person needs to consider before heading to the polls in November.
