When I woke up this morning and read the news I felt that the American people have lost control of our federal and state governments. Corruption runs rampant, illegal activities are out of control, the real rule of law has been replaced with a political rule of law, and politicians keep throwing money out the door. Hayden was 12 years old, about ready to turn 13. Stuck in isolation from the lockdown made him do something no parent would ever think would happen. He went up to his room and hung himself. Corona virus and the actions of Governments have forced you to shut down your business. Our freedoms are slowly being taken away by a virus. Google, YouTube, Facebook are starting to sensor what you can and can not say. If they disagree with your views or postings they now delete them and note that your post doesn't meet their standards of how they believe. There are politicians that love this. Main stream outlets are happy about this because it shuts down people from expressing their dissent. The two Doctors who dissented through a video posted on social media with how the government is handling the virus was taken down by YouTube because it did not go along with the World Health Organizations views. During this lock down period you have the best opportunity to sit down and work with employees on coaching. I have been talking to you in my podcasts about ramping up your business in preparation for the green light for us to go back to our offices and businesses. One process you should be doing is looking at the employees you are going to bring back and begin coaching them. You know their strengths but you need to work on their weaknesses and talk about your plan to ramp up. If you have no plan, if your not working on the key people you are bringing back through coaching, you will have a rough rampup. If you don't know how to coach go onto Linkedin and take their free classes. Encourage your employees to take these classes online. Maybe do one a week of online learning.
