We continue watching horror movies with Brittany's pick this month, the comedy/horror movie My Boyfriend's Back!  We realize that for horror movie month we have been picking things that are horror second and something else first, but hey that's still ok, right?  OH WELL!  Special guest Tee comes on and helps us talk about this movie and we discuss whether or not this movie's original rating was warranted in contrast to some other movies from the same time period. OCTOBER IS HERE!!!  That means horror movies and so this is Horror Movie Month... OBVIOUSLY!  Tom picked the 2012 Irish slasher/clown movie Stitches to kick it off. We all pretty much went in to one side on this rating.  What side do you think our ratings fell on?  Listen up as Tyler comes on and helps us discuss this insane clown picture.

On this week's episode, we did something we've never done before.... We covered THREE movies.  That's right.  That means we sat through 3 movies in a row and then recorded this VERY long episode after.  It was grueling. Aaron's back in town to discuss all three of Neil Breen's movies; Double Down (2005), I Am Here.... God Bless Tiny Tim!  Seriously, because if it weren't for him this movie would have been more unbearable than it already was. That movie was the 1987 horror movie "Blood Harvest".  This was Tom's pick because it missed getting watched "too many times".  Yikes.  Mr. Tim is a creepy clown in a small town where people are being hung upside down and... killed!  Sounds promising right? On this week's Second Class Cinema we finally got around to not only recording an episode, but watching a movie submitted to us!  We watched 2005 horror/vampire movie Blade of the Vampire! Someone actually bought Blade of the Vampire for us to watch. Hard earned dollars. For us to watch this. Thanks for allowing us to watch this Scott! We watched Erik's pick this week and that was the 1988 movie Robowar!  Predator meets RoboCop when a bunch of guys just wander around the jungle unloading their automatic weapons on things they think they see.  Erik has a predilection towards "Robo" movies and I think we finally get it now. Listen up as this episode gets -GREASY-. 

On this week's episode we watch Tom's pick, the 1987 action movie Hollywood Cop.  This movie was directed by Amir Shervan, the same person that made Samurai Cop! You can expect a similar level of grime and crime in this awkwardly raunchy spectacle.  This movie came out 4 years prior to Samurai Cop so we draw the parallels between the two and see how Amir Shervan differed from one movie to the other... If at all. IT'S NOT AWESOME!

It's Brittany's pick and she picked the 1979 horror movie The Brood, directed by David Cronenberg.  Not quite sure we were expecting a very deep film today but hey what else can we expect from David Cronenberg? We certainly experienced some ups and downs with this AND we all gave it the same rating, find out how it measured up on the Fuck Scale!

On this episode we discuss Erik's pick, 1989's action movie Laser Mission.  With Brandon Lee leading this one, it was difficult to dislike. We have some mixed reviews but also a lot of favorite parts.  Enjoy this pretty short episode!

YES ANOTHER BONUS EPISODE! A day early as well! In this episode we "very quickly discussed" the 1985 French horror movie Devil Story. We went out in PUBLIC to watch this one though, that's right, The Arkham Film Society put on this show for us in Providence. Since we didn't have notes to take, nor did we have the immediate discussion on our side, we reduced this episode to a reaction to some of the major moments as well as rating it. This is the second AFS movie we've done on the show as we covered the 1981 slasher Home Sweet Home. It was Tom's pick this week and he chose the 2001 movie The Rats.  This movie had rats, rats, a guy that looked like a rat, more rats, and climaxes with a geyser of rats in a rec-center pool. THAT'S IT AND GOODNIGHT!

In this week's episode Brittany selected the 2014 horror movie Leprechaun: Origins!  We find it hard to believe it's ACTUALLY a Leprechaun movie but hey, if he can go to space, he can be... this?  Maybe, maybe not.  We're certainly glad Kid's Movie Months is over because the "Fudge" rating just wouldn't have been enough. 

It's the LAST day of Kid's Movie Month! YAAAAAY!!!  We felt like wrapping the month up with something a little strange, and that was the 1988, sci-fi/thriller Nukie! Ok maybe it wasn't a "thriller" but Nukie IS terrifying. Jimmy came on to talk about this one with us to help figure out who Nukie is, why he's here, and why he just won't die. We go over whether or not this movie would be watchable for children today as well as a long detailed list of what we think Nukie is ACTUALLY made of. LISTEN UP!

It's still Kid's Movie Month and we had ourselves a DOUBLE FEEEEATURE!  It was ninja night here on Second Class Cinema as we watched both 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain and Surf Ninjas! Erik picked Surf Ninjas while we decided to pad out the ninja night with 3 Ninjas HNAMM as it's been requested by multiple people.  Tyler decided to come on by (who is ultimately getting the blame for 3 Ninjas) to help us to discuss these movies.  Which one of these is ultimately the best ninjas movie for kids? Don't forget to check out http://www.fatfootfilms.com for some awesome short and feature length movies as well as a backlog of all of our episodes!
