  • 51. Tessa Dick in “The Owl in Daylight” // The Life, Work & Metaphysics of Philip K. Dick

    13/11/2017 Duración: 01h43min

Our guest this time around is Tessa Dick. Tessa is the ex-wife, and the fifth and final wife, of one of my favorite writers - the late sci-fi scribe Philip K. Dick. Phil is the author of many classic works of science fiction and alternate history, including the novels The Man in the High Castle, A Scanner Darkly, Ubik and Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said. Phil was also the author of a plethora of notable short stories, including The Minority Report and We Can Remember It For You Wholesale, which was the basis for the film Total Recall. Tessa is an author in her own right, having published several books of both fiction and nonfiction, including the recently published Conversations With Philip K. Dick, which is the basis for this conversation. It’s a cool little chat about the life, experiences and ideas of both Tessa and Phil, so let’s do this damn thing already, and cast this pod off into a sci-fi world that doesn’t seem so fi anymore, where the adjustment bureau is busy rewriting our history and where andro

  • 50. Michael Joseph in “Rainbow Bridge” // The Astrology of a Natal Chart, Questioning Occulture & Beyond the Veil of Isis

If you’re listening to this on November 7, it is my birthday. Now, I don’t care about celebrating my birthday. I usually don’t. Just another day for me. So this episode is not some egotistical, self-indulgent crap that I’m throwing out there because I want the attention. In fact, this wasn’t even going to be an episode that I shared with you guys. This started as a casual conversation with Michael Joseph, the man behind the schism206 YouTube channel. Some of you may have heard Mike on the Sage of Quay Radio Hour or The Higherside Chats. He is quite the resource for occult and esoteric information. He’s spent a lot of time reading and interpreting texts in this area and showing how the information in these texts comprise an occult belief system of the “elite”, and how those beliefs are portrayed in our cultural and political institutions. The basis of this conversation though stems from Mike’s blossoming interest in astrology, to the point where he wants to start offering astrological services to folks who are

  • 48. Jeff Wolfe in “Zombie Chainsaw Massacre” // Subversive Horror Cinema & Remembering George Romero & Tobe Hooper

    24/10/2017 Duración: 01h53min

INTERVIEW BEGINS AT 7:58 - Some of you have been clamoring for Jeff Wolfe to return to the show after our first conversation back in episode 23. Jeff, of course, is the scribe at SecretTransmissions.com, one of, I think, the must-read blogs on the intrawebz if you’re into things like the occult or counterculture, or, as is this case with our chat here, the subversiveness of horror cinema. Jeff is one of the biggest horror geeks I know, and I thought it was fitting to ask him back on the show to have a conversation that not only pays tribute to the film genre that he and I love most, but to give a honor two of its very best artisans in George Romero and Tobe Hooper. Both passed away earlier this year, and were primarily responsible for laying the groundwork for what most of us know as modern horror cinema. If you’re a fan of the genre or any of the movies of these guys, you’ll quite enjoy this chat. And if you’re not, hopefully you will be interested in their work afterward. • 44. Nathan Dube (feat. Katelan Foisy) in “Art Is Resistance” // Hypersigils, Egregores, Music & Making Magic

    26/09/2017 Duración: 01h14min

Nathan Dube is the author of the novel “A Labyrinth of Dreams”, which lays the foundation for our conversation here. The book doubles as a hypersigil and is about 18-year-old Julian Crane who, after the murder of his grandfather, leaves the Christian faith to study occultism and the magical arts and discovers what he calls the realm of the seven dream worlds. It caps off a nice trilogy of sorts with the two previous episodes with Dick Khan and Ian WIlson. So let’s kickstart this heart and cast this pod off into a place where the highest form of magic is and has always been art, and where that art is indeed resistance. Also, the Mistress of Magic, Katelan Foisy, joins me for a few minutes in the intro to talk about a Kickstarter she’s involved in for “BECOMING DANGEROUS”, a nonfiction book of deeply personal essays by marginalized people using the intersection of feminism, witchcraft, and resistance to summon power and become fearsome in a world that would prefer them afraid. Ian is a private dream researcher and dream explorer who has been recognized by members of the International Association for the Study of Dreams as a pioneer in the exploration of precognitive dream phenomena. Ian is also the man behind the website YouAreDreaming.org, which is a wet dream for anyone interested in dream research, consciousness or anything associated with these fields. Ian has tons of free articles, abstracts and ebooks available on his website, including a book titled “You Are Dreaming”, which I stumbled across a few years back and recommend to anyone with even a passing interest in this topic. • 42. Dick Khan in "DMT & the Occult Mind" // Investigating Occult Realities Using the Spirit Molecule

    12/09/2017 Duración: 01h04min

We’ve got a true modern-day psychonaut in the house. His pseudonym is Dick Khan, and he’s the author of the book “DMT & My Occult Mind: Investigation of Occult Realities Using the Spirit Molecule”. This book is actually the first of a three-book series that chronicles more than 600 DMT experiments that Dick conducted over the course of three years. His experiments landed him a speaking gig at the recent Breaking Convention 2017, the fourth International Conference on Psychedelic Consciousness, and after his talk there, his story was then featured on VICE.com. He’s a man who’s smoked DMT more times in a day than I have in my lifetime, and a man who’s got entities on speed dial. But let’s do some dialing of our own and ratchet this thing up to 528 Hz and cast this pod off into the occulted Land of Pineal, where we find the answer to life, the universe and everything. He’s the creator and one of the moderators of the /holofractal subreddit over at Reddit. Joe and I are gonna dig into the subject that inspired the creation of the subreddit, and that is the work of Nassim Haramein and the Resonance Project, which seeks to bridge the gap between science and spirituality and unify physics. We’ll be talking the theory of the holographic universe and the differences between that and the standard model of physics. We’ll also hit on fractal geometry, the holographic theory as expressed in a story from Buddhist philosophy, the Music of the Spheres, how the human brain fits into this theory, the Bible, creation myths f

    29/08/2017 Duración: 01h11min

My partner in crime, my ride or die, for this one is Greg Kading, a retired Los Angeles Police detective who spent a couple years heading up a task force charged with investigating the murder of Christopher Wallace aka rapper Biggie Smalls. That case eventually crossed paths with the unsolved murder of Tupac Shakur, and, according to Greg, both these cases have been cracked, but, for reasons he’ll outline for us, Greg had to self-publish the findings of the task force investigation in his 2011 book “Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations”. The book has since been made into a documentary of the same name and is now being adapted as a television series for the USA network. This story has a lot of moving parts, a lot of names and dates, and I only had an hour with Greg, so I did my best to streamline the major players and events. There’s a lot of conspiracy theories surrounding these stories, and I did ask Greg about one of them that I’m gonna dig more into on
