The New York Giants opted to draft wide receiver Malik Nabers 6th overall in last week's NFL draft. The team selected Nabers over quarterbacks J.J. McCarthy, Michael Penix and Bo Nix. With the Giants still in need of a long-term solution at the quarterback, there is unrest amongst the fan base. Ethan, Nick and Weis are here to quell concern and put some reason out into the universe. 

In a strategic move, the Giants selected Malik Nabers as their 6th overall pick, bypassing highly touted quarterbacks JJ McCarthy, Michael Penix, and Bo Nix. The New York Football Giants finally closed the book on the Saquon Barkley era of franchise on Monday letting the running back opt for free agency and sign with the Philadelphia Eagles. In addition, safety Xavier McKinney opted to sign with the Green Bay Packers. The Giants completed a trade for pass rusher Brian Burns and signed both Jon Runyan and Jermain Eluemunor to help solidify the offensive line.  In addition, a whole lot of Joe Schoen talk. 

The New York Football Giants and defensive coordinator Wink Martindale finally agreed to part ways on Wednesday afternoon after several days of drama. In addition the team made several changes to the coaching staff including long time punching bag, offensive line coach Bobby Johnson.  With the offseason looming and the top of the NFL draft order solidified, what can the Giants do to make the best out of a difficult situation with no obvious solution at the quarterback position and 3 teams ahead of them in the draft with a clear need at QB.  How will Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll address the offseason? 

The New York Giants inexplicably as ten point underdogs went on the road and defeated the Washington Commanders in Tommy DeVito's first career win as a starting quarterback. While the Giants won on the field, winning might have consequences for next spring's NFL draft and sets up a crucial game this upcoming weekend against the New England Patriots. Caleb Williams bowl, Tanksgiving, it's all in front of the Giants. 

The New York Football Giants will not win another football game as long as Tommy DeVito, the pride of Don Bosco Prep, plays quarterback for the franchise. Simply put, it's not DeVito's fault the Giants are losing, nor is Brian Daboll at fault for this mess of a season. With injuries piling up, the stakes low and the team unable to function on offense, why is everyone still so angry? Isn't a high draft pick in the spring a good thing? 

The New York Giants of Daniel Jones are dead gone and buried. The former 6th overall pick suffered a torn ACL in Sunday afternoon's game against the Las Vegas Raiders which felt like a death knell for the organization's long-term plans at the position. Now, the focus must shift to the NFL draft and the Giants potentially taking a quarterback in the top five whether it be Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.

The New York Giants made one trade prior to Tuesday's deadline but it was a significant one. The Giants sent defensive lineman Leonard Williams to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for second and fifth round picks. However, the Giants did hold onto both Saquon Barkley and Adoree' Jackson even though both are expiring players. In addition, the Commanders sent Chase Young and Montez Sweat to the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears respectively. 

The New York Giants finished Sunday's game against the New York Jets with negative nine passing yards in the year of our lord 2023 AD. Backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor was injured early in the game forcing undrafted free agent Tommy DeVito into the fire against the elite Jets defense who had the Syracuse product on pure hand the ball off duty. The Giants were undone on special teams where Graham Gano missed a pair of field goals and an extra point in less than ideal conditions at Metlife stadium. At this point, the Giants are firmly looking towards next season, but how ugly will things get? Who, if anyone, get's moved at the trade deadline? 

The New York Giants scored an offensive touchdown for the first time in more than a month and had maybe the most functional offense of the entire season this week against the Washington Commanders. With backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor starting in place of the injured Daniel Jones, the Giants were able to push the ball a bit more down the field as the veteran's pocket presence allowed New York to operate at a higher level. The New York Giants lost a professional football game once again but for the first time since Arizona, the team didn't embarrass itself. With starting quarterback Daniel Jones suffering from a neck injury, backup Tyrod Taylor made the spot start and showed that the Giants are capable of running a functional offense.
