After a decade of estrangement, a day of fishing and reconciliation changed the direction of this father-son relationship forever. It's a powerful story of forgiveness and healing.

    08/10/2017 Duración: 22min

On this week’s show, Kurt and Chad talk with Stewardship Pastor Steve Carter about true stewardship (it’s more than just finances). It’s a topic that most people don't want to discuss - because it’s not a checkbook issue, it's a heart issue.

  • #96 Part I From Triumph To Tragedy And Back To Triumph - This Time For Eternity 8/26/17

    27/08/2017 Duración: 23min

From triumph to tragedy...and back to triumph. Few boys have had a “larger than life” father like Brad Tyrer had. His father, NFL pioneer Jim Tyrer, was physically larger than life - 6’6" and 300 pounds. And, he was as quick on his feet as he was big. His football resume was impressive. Jim played in the first Super Bowl and won in Super Bowl IV. He was an All-Pro Lineman for 9 years. This week, as Brad sits down with Kurt and Chad, he tells how his idyllic childhood took a tragic turn on September 15, 1980, and how his life would never be the same. Brad went on to make a name for himself as a linebacker for Tom Osborne at Nebraska. Bowl games and gridiron glory behind him, Brad developed meaningful friendships with men on and off the football field, and his life would again, never be the same. This time for the better...and for eternity.

    13/08/2017 Duración: 23min

You can be pretty sure God doesn't have an American worldview - He has a global perspective. Do you have a global worldview? This week’s show features two missionaries - one based in the US and the other living halfway around the world. They've asked to keep their identities and locations confidential due to the sensitive nature of their relationships and cultural restrictions. They sit down with Kurt and Chad to discuss ways to minister to (and speak the truth to) refugees coming to the US, as well as overseas in other parts of the world.
