Tim Hartlage tells Kurt and Chad about his incredible journey of faith. Tim grew up in a rough neighborhood in southwest Louisville, and hated getting beaten up. He played football in high school and college, but a serious injury ended that. Over the next few years, Tim felt God’s tug on his life, but by now Tim was the Vice President of a successful beer distributorship and life was good (or so he thought). One night, leaving a beer convention on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Tim took a hard hit to the head - from a cross - literally. God now had his attention - almost. A year later in Houston, Tim had another encounter with that same cross (along with some other impossible coincidences), and he was finally ready to listen. He gave his life to Jesus, and the adventure was just beginning! (This is a repeat episode - enjoy!)

In light of the recent Supreme Court decision, the debate has grown to a fever pitch and both sides are further apart than ever. But, in all of the controversy, the ones who tend to get lost in the shuffle are the pregnant women and the children they are carrying. On this week’s show, Monica Henderson, who has been involved in pregnancy resource help for and with women for nearly 15 years, talks about the recent Roe v. Wade decision and how pregnancy crisis centers will have to adapt and take on more responsibility and what the churches role will be with the significance of this change.
