The vehicle in which we grow and remain connected in our faith in EVERY season of our life, is COMMUNITY. Christ centered community is vital to our growth as Christians. We aren’t lone wolves! We need other people in our lives helping us along the journey. • Like wolves, we run in packs. But sometimes, those packs start becoming clubs and cliques. Sometimes we can become so inward focused and we lose the outward mission of drawing other people in to community and to see them step into a relationship with Jesus and help them grow. A gap forms between the church and the world outside. • We bridge the gap by seeing people the way Jesus does and loving them radically.

We are in Wk 2 of our series called “I ❤ ” and we’re looking at things we should love. Not just any thing...but what we find Jesus loving. Last week we talked about loving our community. To find ways to leverage our community influence for Jesus Christ! Today we’re talking about loving the Church. And this message will be different than my usual messages. You’ll see why in a moment. But first i want to set before us this truth... Jesus loved the church, he established the church.

Two weeks ago we talked about HOW we have our best year ever and that means knowing our purpose and making a difference. How do we know our purpose and make a difference in the world?? Have you ever said, “I don’t know how to hear from God.” God might not speak to us like we speak, but he speaks nonetheless. He speaks thru Inspiration from scripture. Dreams. Visions. The BIG point for today is this: A human plan, apart from a God-given vision, is an empty pursuit.

Do you want this year to be a good year? A great year? The best year ever? That’s what we want for you! And it should come as no surprise, when I tell you that I believe the best year ever for you is made possible by a God who desperately wants to be in a closer relationship with you. I want us to zoom in on WHY this year can be the Best Year Ever in your life so far!
