In this episode of Scavenger's Hoard, Rachael and Kirsty are joined by special guest Erin (better known as Holocroning). Together they discuss the 'Twin Suns' episode of Rebels, Bob Iger's latest comments on the Han Solo movie and The Last Jedi, some intriguing potential lore concerning Luke and Kylo Ren courtesy of Star Wars News Net, and the latest intriguing reveals on the development of Rogue One. In this episode of Scavenger's Hoard, Kirsty and Rachael cover the latest news, from Frank Oz's comments on The Last Jedi to Gareth Edwards' explanation of why we won't be seeing Rogue One deleted scenes. For the spotlight discussion, they're joined once again by Natasha (AshesforFoxes) and Shi (Ohtze) for part two of their epic Reylo discussion, diving into the ship's place in the wider Star Wars fandom and their wishes/prediction for where they can see it heading in the future. In the final segment, they answer a wide selection of listener questions, discussing everything from Padme's death to Rey's knowledge (or lack thereof) of her parents.

In Episode 16 of the Scavenger's Hoard podcast Rachael and Kirsty discuss the latest Last Jedi trailer rumours and the news that the Han Solo movie has started shooting. We then take a deep dive into the character of Leia, discussing her development over the course of the original trilogy and beyond. In Episode 15 of Scavenger's Hoard we discuss the big Star Wars news - the release of the title to Star Wars Episode VIII, The Last Jedi! We discuss Rian Johnson's recent comments to USA Today, the latest spoilers from Making Star Wars and rumours on when we can expect the first Episode VIII trailer. We then delve into an in-depth discussion of the Episode VIII spoiler scene, covering all of the information we have and covering a few of our predictions for the film.

Rachael and Kirsty start the show by paying tribute to Carrie Fisher and discussing her book The Princess Diarist. They then go on to discuss the news before turning the spotlight onto Rogue One and its reception, closing the shows with some listener questions.

Kirsty​ and Rachael are quick out of the gate with their Rogue One spoiler review! These represent our initial thoughts (we’ve both only seen it once), and we cover our feelings on everything from a certain Dark Lord of the Sith to the film’s politics and handling of its characters and plot. We dive into spoilers from the outset, so it’s best to hold off listening to this until you’ve seen the film for yourself!
