The Seattle Seahawks closed out their 2022 campaign with a playoff loss, and they gave us a glimmer of hope that they could move on to the next round. With a 17-16 lead coming out of the first half, the Seahawks fumbled away a chance to match the 49ers first touchdown of the second half. With the defense unable to make a stop after halftime, the offense never had a chance. One bit of good news, was that this game demonstrated a major area of need for the Seahawks to address this offseason.

The 2022 regular season has come to a conclusion and Pete Carroll has finished the year with another winning record. Not only that, he swept both Kliff Kingsbury and Sean McVay on his way to a 9-8 season with Geno Smith under center. Now Kingsbury has been cast out of Arizona and reports are that McVay could be done in LA. That could leave us with just one NFC West Frat Boy remaining of the trio. In the beginning of this season, we thought how nice it would be to have a season without expectations. A relatively stress free season where we can look ahead to the future and growth of a draft class we had high expectations for. Partway through the season, the record scratched and suddenly it looked like our team could actually make the playoffs.
