151: Draft prospect visits on offense, the offseason story that won't die, and the first arrest of the offseason goes to...
05/04/2017 Duración: 01h35minThis offseason has reached a new low as Brandan finds himself watching gamers play Madden competitively, but the good news is the NFL Draft is just around the corner and we'll probably see the schedule released in the next couple weeks. To help lead up to the draft the guys take a look at a few prospects that have reportedly met with the team: guard Isaac Asiata, tackle Zach Banner, tight end Antony Auclair as well as wide receivers Chad Williams and Deangelo Yancey. It's important to watch prospect visits, because based on past history, there are players among this group who will are very likely to make the team either via draft or brought in as an undrafted free agent. This week's group includes two offensive lineman and three pass catchers (one tight end, two receivers). Knowing that the team looks for unique qualities, a demonstration of grit, and leadership qualities, the guys look at each of the players through that lens. Who is to blame for the continued rumors surrounding Richard Sherman? The writers

150: Bennett's 2017 breakout players, Seahawks up against cap after latest signings, cost of trading up in the draft
26/03/2017 Duración: 01h27minWe talked a little bit about the salary cap last week as Adam concluded that there was no more money left to sign players. All the money was gone. Turns out figuring out how the salary cap works is hard, so the guys take a bit of time to talk about some of the details before getting into the latest round of free agent signings for the team. Russ emails the show to ask about the logic of allowing Hauschka to leave the team in free agency and Adam and Brandan talk about the potential impact of losing someone who has been proven to perform in clutch situations. Now that some of the contract numbers are in, Adam has changed his tune on one player in particular. The reports of a Marshawn Lynch comeback continue and it's shown Adam a new trick the media seems to be using in how they continue to cover a story which there seems to be no new news. In actual news, Michael Bennett this past week named his three breakout players for 2017 and Brandan and Adam react to the names because one name in particular was a bit of

149: The great Eddie Lacy debate, Wayne Henderson of the Packers Fan Podcast weighs in, and making news with trade rumors
19/03/2017 Duración: 01h21minAfter addressing their offensive line by signing Luke Joeckel last week, the Seahawks look to make an impact to their running game by signing Eddie Lacy. Adam and Brandan don't agree that Lacy actually improves the running game as Adam thinks the money would be better put to use on the offensive line. Wayne Henderson of the Packers Fan Podcast joins the show to offer his thoughts based on what he's seen from Lacy in his four years in Green Bay. Adam's belief is that there are several running backs in the draft the Seahawks could have taken a look at and brings up a running back from Oklahoma who broke all kinds of records. With all the news focusing on the unsubstantiated trade rumors, Adam decides to cook up one of his own that is just as likely as any of the rest. If you're a writer for Bleacher Report, you're going to want to tune in and write a story, because it'll bring in the clicks! Wrapping up the passionate discussion from both sides with regard to Lacy, the guys decide to put down a wager on it and

148: The Seahawks show they care about o-line, Rob Staton of Seahawks Draft Blog with post-combine thoughts, and the start of free agency
13/03/2017 Duración: 01h41minThe Seahawks show they're turning over a new leaf in 2017 by bringing in offensive lineman in the initial days of free agency. They sign a former #2 overall draft pick, but lose out in signing former Packers guard T.J. Lang to Detroit. Does an old mantra about this team still apply? Seattle also appears to be in the market for running backs past their prime. The guys talk about what may be the logic in that strategy and the merits of Adrian Peterson vs Jamaal Charles. The guys welcome Rob Staton of seahawksdraftblog.com and co-host of the 3000 NFL Mock Draft podcast. With the combine wrapping up last week, Rob has thoughts on who the Seahawks might want to look at in the draft. Unfortunately he has some bad news. The position of greatest concern is one of the weaker positions in the draft, especially in terms of the explosive type of lineman the Seahawks tend to try and find. He's especially excited by the prospects of some of the defensive players and the opportunity to find some key guys to help bolster the

147: The media is out to get Richard Sherman, a look at free agent o-lineman, and the combine inspires Lamp love
05/03/2017 Duración: 01h18minThe guys come to you this week after watching running backs and offensive lineman run at the combine. Adam has one observation that he wants to share with everyone as a result: "I love Lamp." Pete Carroll said a whole lot of nothing, but does emphasize the importance of the running game in his press conference. John Schneider had several interesting thoughts to share with reporters in his addition to the approach he's taking to deliver a consistent championship caliber team. The guys take their initial look at free agents the Seahawks may be interested in by talking about offensive lineman. With Breno and Okung available in free agency is it time to get the band back together again? Or should the team look at several other free agents who are expected to be available this week? Richard Sherman was back in the news this week and the guys wonder if ESPN and the media are out to get Sherman. Based on what was in his interview with Cari Champion, it sounds as though Sherman and Champion were talking about differe

146: Seahawks players to cut, trade or re-sign this offseason (or in 2018)
23/02/2017 Duración: 01h09minLast week we took a look at the 2017 free agents for the Seahawks, and this week we look ahead to next year's list of free agents. As players enter their final year of their contract, the team tends to evaluate players for contract extensions or cut players to have additional money under the salary cap. We talk Jimmy Graham, Kam Chancellor, Justin Britt and Paul Richardson and the likelihood that a player could be cut, re-signed, traded or if we'll see them play out their contract. We take a look at some news items this past week as the former running backs coach talks about what the team needs to do to get back to the Super Bowl, what the Blair Walsh contract means for the future of Steve Hauschka and a former Dolphins defensive tackle makes a visit to the VMAC this week. In the second half of the show, we're looking for your feedback on the worst free agent signings of the Pete Carroll era after USA Today reports on their top three guys. In the Do Better segment, we learn about how writers waste time talkin

145: Seahawks free agents, NFL cap casualties, Walsh to replace Hauschka, and coaching changes
15/02/2017 Duración: 01h27minWith NFL free agency a couple weeks away, the Seahawks appear to be making a strategic move in their negotiations with kicker Steve Hauschka. Adam and Brandan talk about what may be behind the move to sign Blair Walsh, a kicker well-known to all Seahawks fans for a miss that won a playoff game for Seattle. In other news from the past week, there a number of coaching changes to report. What should fans make of these changes to the staff? The guys discuss. General Manager John Schneider has put the team in an incredible position this off season with very few notable players on the 2017 list of free agents. Which of these players should we expect the team to re-sign in the coming weeks? And with cap casualties starting to drop from other rosters, which players should the Seahawks be taking a look at? Before getting into the second half of the show, the guys discuss the Seahawks red zone performance in the 2016 season. Throughout the season, the Seahawks were at the bottom of the scoring percentage on the road, b

144: Pats SB win was good for Seahawks fans, Kenny Easley voted into the HOF, pick'em winners announced
09/02/2017 Duración: 01h22minThe most important news to Seahawks fans from this past weekend wasn't that a certain quarterback and coach cemented their claim as all-time greats, no, it was that Kenny Easley was voted into the NFL Hall of Fame this weekend. Easley becomes the fourth member of the Seahawks to play his entire career in Seattle and make it to the Hall. Adam and Brandan run down some of the latest Seahawks news from the past week before getting into Sunday's game and how the victory by the Patriots actually makes our lives as Seahawks fans a little bit easier moving forward. By losing a 25-point lead to Genghis Tom, there's now a new offensive coordinator who will be remembered, not for one bad choice, but for a number of bad decisions. They all add up to a loss that will be remembered for many years to come. We also announce the winners of the Sea Hawkers Podcast pick'em league. It came down to a tie after all this weeks. The Patron League champion wasn't as close. To close out the show, a pair of former Big 10 quarterbacks

143: Coach Carroll offers hints on what to expect in 2017 and the ins and outs of 2016 with Clinton Bonner
02/02/2017 Duración: 01h58minWrapping up the fourth season of the Sea Hawkers Podcast, the guys take a look at Head Coach Pete Carroll's final press conference of the season. Carroll talks about the one thing that had the biggest impact on the team this year. Was it the distractions the team faced including a few moments from Richard Sherman, was it the youth of the offensive line or injuries the team faced throughout the season? Looking ahead we get a sense of where this team may have diverted from Carroll's philosophy. Can we expect a shift moving ahead to next season. We also get some hints at where this team may focus some attention in the draft. While Adam was surprised to see the team focused at running back at 2016, there may be another surprise in 2017 at where we see Seattle focus its attention. Clinton Bonner joins the show to talk about some of the highs and lows of the 2016 season. Seahawks.com took a look at some award winning performances from the past season and Adam, Brandan and Clinton each offer their takes on competiti

142: The Seahawks playoff window w/ Russell Wilson at QB, when the Falcons game turned south, 8 reasons for positivity
23/01/2017 Duración: 01h37minWith the Seahawks season coming to a close, the big question being thrown around is wondering if the window for this Seattle team has closed. Adam wonders why we are even asking the question, because from the sounds of the media reports coming out of this game is the conclusion has already been reached. But, anyone making that claim must not actually be paying attention to the personnel this team has or looking around the division at the competition in the NFC West. Going back to last Saturday, the Seahawks season ends on a 36-20 to the Atlanta Falcons. With a week to reflect on the game, Adam and Brandan take a look back at some of the key moments and debate where things really went off track for the team after they got out to an unusual start for a road playoff game. Some of the same road struggles continued from earlier on this season, from red zone production and pass protection to not getting timely turnovers. The talk from the Falcons game turns to some listener emails and questions including whether or

141: It's time for Seattle to start quickly on the road. A look at key personnel differences from 12 weeks back
13/01/2017 Duración: 01h07minThe guys offered their initial thoughts on the Falcons matchup earlier this week and now they're back with some additional focus on the matchup with Atlanta. First, it's a quick look back at three key plays from the Lions game and the historic accomplishment by Thomas Rawls. This weekend the Seahawks get the chance to start off the NFL action with a rematch this Saturday against the Falcons. Adam and Brandan look at some key personnel differences from that Week 6 game as well as some differences in the level of health of key players. Two questions: Can the Seahawks dominate the Falcons to the same level they did at CenturyLink? And will they be able to overcome their playoff history under Pete Carroll where they have always started out in at least a two-score hole before they've been able to put points on the board? We let you know about some events in the Atlanta area for fans traveling to the game and welcome the new members of the flock. Do better calls go out to a police chief in Michigan and to some of t

Wild Card victory sends the Seahawks on to Atlanta (feat. UK Sea Hawkers Ross and Adam)
09/01/2017 Duración: 43minA joint playoff victory celebration as Adam and Brandan are joined by UK Sea Hawkers Ross and Adam of The Pedestrian Podcast. The Seahawks running game returns with Thomas Rawls doing the things we saw from him last season and helping lead the Seahawks to a 26-6 victory. Seattle also got it done through the air and while nobody was shocked to see Baldwin go over 100 yards, some incredible grabs by Paul Richardson made folks (including Chris Collinswoth) wonder if Odell Beckham had suited up in Richardson's gear for this game. The defense helps get it done as well, holding the Lions out of the end zone and keeping them to two field goals. Adam thinks a game ball should go to the Lions receivers for the number of key drops they had, which definitely contributed to the low score for Detroit. With the Falcons coming up, each guy offers up a concern heading into the Falcons matchup. It brings up a number of questions. Can this Seahawks team show up in the same way they did for 3 quarters against Atlanta in their r

The Rain City Miracle with William Cornell of the Rain City Redemption Series
06/01/2017 Duración: 24minWe've raved about the Rain City Redemption series in the past. It's a must watch set of videos for Seahawks fans and it's hard to believe it has been as long as it has since the last movie in the series. The Rain City Miracle came out this week and creator of the series William Cornell joins us once again to talk about what went into this project and why he felt this was a story that needed to be told and in the archives along with previous episodes. He talks about the process it takes to put something like this together and why this video takes a bit of a different approach compared to previous episodes in the series. One of the videos greatest attributes, since it's about an amazing comeback in the NFC Championship game, we don't even have to suffer through another viewing of the play from the following game. You know which play we mean. Look back at some of the adversity from that season as well as some key moments that foreshadow this team's ability to never doubt themselves even when it looks like there

140: Let the postseason begin, a look at the areas for the Seahawks to exploit vs Detroit, and Bobby Wagner's huge year
04/01/2017 Duración: 01h14minThe Seahawks close out the regular season with their fifth straight 10-win season. It's an incredible accomplishment, so why do so many Seahawks fans seem down? Maybe it's because the team was a field goal kick or maybe even an extra point away from having a first round bye. If there's one small upside, it's that we don't have to wait an extra week to cheer our Seahawks on in the playoffs. Before the guys break down areas where the Seahawks may look to exploit this Lions team, they look back at a win over the 49ers. Again, a lot of fans were down about this game and the guys talk about why it may have had something to do with how this game started and expectations for a need to come out with a more dominant result on the scoreboard. Adam watched this game after hearing the fan reaction of the game and talks about his reaction to the Seahawks performance. Was it a mistake to pull Russell so early in the fourth quarter? The guys talk about what they liked from T-Boyk's performance late in the game. Going into

139: The Cardinals are the new Rams, knowing when to boo your own team, and logic says Seattle should win its final game
29/12/2016 Duración: 01h17minIf you're angry about this last game against the Cardinals, this is the show to listen to. We share your emotion, passion and disappointment with how this last game went for the Seahawks, because there was so much to be upset about. There were issues on offense, issues on defense, issues on special teams, beloved players were injured and the Seahawks lost their hold on the #2 seed. Now we have to also be Saints fans in addition to being Seahawks fans this final week of the season. After an incredibly poor showing in the first half, the Seahawks offense managed to get things going in the second half. Doug Baldwin lit up the Cardinals defense and Russell Wilson threw for 350 yards and four touchdowns. But turnovers and special teams cost the team in this game as well as a deep touchdown pass that gave the Cardinals easy points. The guys discuss whether or not it's ever okay to boo your team. Seattle is in the postseason and a win over the San Francisco 49ers guarantees they won't play the Giants in the first ro

138: NFC West Champions, Bennett goes one pump too many, Sherman's SB49 flashback, NFL should only fine guys who are jerks
21/12/2016 Duración: 01h33minYour Seahawks are NFC West Champions as they finally put an end to the Rams three-game win streak. It only took and entire season of reverse jinxes to give the team an assist. Though the Seahawks won convincingly, the final score of 24-3 still seemed too close and a big part was due to some questionable decisions by the Rams interim coach. There were so many things to be happy about with this Seahawks performance: the Housing Commissioner (Avril) built more houses, Doug Baldwin broke some ankles, Bennett reminded us how many pumps is too many, and Jon Ryan made "the face" again. The Seahawks continue to close out the season against NFC West opponents with their final regular season game at CenturyLink against the Arizona Cardinals. Darin Pike joins the show to take credit for calling his shot on the downfall of the Cards and explain why the Seahawks team seems to perform well at home and has struggled on the road. There's one variable that seems to explain the performance of the offensive line on the road vs

137: A game so bad that Baldwin's facemask was throwing INTs and the LA Rams Podcast celebrates Jeff Fisher's firing
13/12/2016 Duración: 01h14minThe Seahawks suffer their worst loss since Charlie Whitehurst was in on backup duty for Matt Hasselbeck and the guys talk about how it got so bad on Sunday that Doug Balwin's facemask was throwing interceptions. Adam talks about why he was legitimately to blame for the Seahawks loss and not Russell Wilson or the offensive line, but we still discuss which of the other two could have majorly contributed to the loss. James and Bear of the LA Rams Podcast join us this week to look ahead to the Thursday night matchup with the Seahawks. With Jeff Fisher getting fired on Monday, does that mean the Rams lose the binder full of trick plays they use against the Seahawks? Not only does LA come into the game with a different head coach, they come in with a different quarterback than we saw Seattle face earlier this season. In a shortened second half of the show, the guys get to a call and a couple emails that came in before the game. Chris Sims catches Adam's attention with a 60-second video clip that lands him on the d

136: Dominant win over Carolina comes with a heavy price, is there a Seahawks curse at Lambeau?, interview with Patrick Seahawk Duncan
08/12/2016 Duración: 01h37minPutting the nail in the coffin of any playoff hopes the Panthers may have had for this season should feel good, especially when it's a 40-7 beatdown that started from the first play of the game. But unfortunately this win feels like a loss with Earl Thomas going down for the season with a broken leg. Adam and Brandan talk about some of the biggest plays in the win, why Justin Britt may be the team MVP and how this defense will look without Thomas. It's the first time he'll miss any major time and the guys talk about his tweet where he said he was thinking about retirement. With one Thomas out, there is another Thomas "in" and that's Thomas Rawls who looked like the running back we remember from the 2015 season. Young players like Rawls, Lockett and Frank Clark could be the catalyst the team needs at this point of the season going into the playoffs. With Marshawn Lynch on the sideline at this game, it caught the attention of Pete Prisco. He likens the visit by Lynch to the high school grad that comes back to

135: Bucs pressure Russell Wilson to rare stat line, how the o-line rebounds vs the Panthers, and the Montana Sea Hawkers charity effort
01/12/2016 Duración: 01h40minThe Seahawks come away with their third loss of the season in a truly ugly game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The offense only manages to score a field goal thanks to a pass interference call on the Bucs and the defense adds a safety. Not only were there injuries on the offensive line, there was a shakeup at right tackle just one series into the game and the three rookies struggled all day to keep up with a dominating defensive line. Adam and Brandan talk about just what went wrong and a stat line from Russell Wilson that we rarely see. Just because the Carolina Panthers are 4-7 coming into this game doesn't mean they can't give the Seahawks a game for Sunday Night Football. The Panthers are doing well in some key areas on offense, but their defense has struggled mightily on the road this season. It feels like this game is going to come down to whether or not the offensive line is going to look more like it did against the Philadelphia Eagles a couple weeks ago or if their struggles from last week continu

134: Russell Wilson is all the way back, Anthony Nachreiner preveiws the Bucs matchup, and the Sea Hawkers join in on the houses for Haiti effort
24/11/2016 Duración: 01h47minIf there were any questions about the health of Russell Wilson going into the matchup against the Eagles, there is no doubt about his health now as we watched him catch the first touchdown pass of his career on a throw from Doug Baldwin. With another effort of 100+ yards, Baldwin now finds himself among the top Seahawks receivers of all time. The guys talk about why Baldwin deserves to make his first Pro Bowl as one of the top receivers in the NFL. Adam and Brandan also get into the Seahawks latest injury issues and discuss whether the team let Christine Michael go too soon. Before the preview with the Bucs, the guys take a trip to Prisco's World. Apparently the sickness is beginning to spread and the population of Planet Prisco is growing, and a former Rams quarterback is parroting Pete's words when it comes to Russell Wilson. Anthony Nachreiner of Nach on Sports joins the show to talk about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He and other Bucs fans are riding high after back-to-back wins and he lets us know what to e
