The greatest and most important decision in life is rather or not you will receive Christ in your life. This decision determines where you will spend eternity with God or without God. There is a statement that has been thrown around that says, "Hurt people hurt people." We want to make an alternative statement that happens when God is at work and that is, "Hurt people help people." God can turn hurt into a blessing if we persevere. A man named Warren Muldoon gives us a great parable to our lives. He went hiking on Mount Baldy and during the course he somehow made a wrong turn. This lead to him injuring himself pretty badly and no one could get to him and he could not save himself. Someone called and the paramedics flew in and was able to save him. Our lives are the same way when we plan to have fun and instead we lose our way ending up getting hurt. Watch or listen to how we can not only be saved, but love the lost who needs saving.

Tom Brady became a champion not just by his talent. He was unexpected selected in the sixth round of the NFL College draft. But, he became a champion by practicing and practicing consistently perfecting his abilities. In this we have an example of how we should be in our growth in the Lord. The Super Bowl game will happen today and the teams will battle on the football field. But that is not the biggest battle that is going on, it is the battle for our minds. The way we think will determine who we become. Watch or listen to how we can rejoice by thinking biblically.

The number one addiction in America is not alcohol, marijuana, or pornography, but worry. Many would not count that as an addiction, but it is terribly destructive. If we could conquer fear and anxiety we would be able to heal tons of people from the hospital beds. Watch or listen to how we can can have joyful living by praying with thanksgiving.

Lynsi Snyder is the youngest female billionaire at age 34. She has been through a lot of broken relationships and even with all of the riches she can't rejoice. There are people like Madonna and Shia LaBeouf, who even with all of the fame and riches does not have the joy we all want. So we need to stop believing the lie that fame and riches will bring us joy and fulfillment. Watch or listen to how we can rejoice in fulfilling God's purposes in our lives.

Having the joy in the Lord is a command from God. Which means that it is not only attainable, but manageable. Watch or listen to how we can manage stress to benefit us in a world full of challenges.

There is so much darkness in the world. If you read about Aleppo, but also in our nation you will notice that a lot of people are experiencing dark times this Christmas. Some are not looking for presents, but how to survive. The choice we make determines if the light of Christmas will shine in our lives forever or not.
