Sinopsis

I first visited Walt Disney World back in 1986. I was a wide eyed teenager that just wanted to leave EPCOT Center and get back to Magic Kingdom. There are only a few pictures from that trip, not like the thousands I take on an average trip today. Today, I see Walt Disney World as the one location where my entire family can find something to smile about. No matter the age, no matter who is with us, you will find an adventure. Sams Disney Diary is simply a way for me to capture and share our memories and our latest adventures in the magic. I hope you enjoy.

  • Disneyland Showtime (1970)

    09/08/2020 Duración: 47min

Originally aired on March 22, 1970, Disneyland Showtime is an episode of “The Wonderful World of Disney”.  Interestingly, this was the first television special from Disneyland without a real host.  The Osmond Brothers, accompanied by Kurt Russell and Actress E.J. Peaker, come to Disneyland to perform at a show being held there, but Donny and Jay Osmond go off to explore the park. Most of the episode deals with the Osmonds looking for Jay and Donny, while at the same time, having to keep up a tight schedule as a deadline for a performance from the Osmond Brothers was coming up fast, but they had gotten separated, but they eventually find each other and have that performance. Later, Kurt Russell gives the viewers an inside look at the Haunted Mansion, the last Disneyland attraction that Walt Disney planned that opened at Disneyland.
