Maximum HBO
16/11/2020 Duración: 31minIn this episode we talk about HBO Max and all the amazing shows you can only find on the streaming service. You should really check it out because there are some great soon-to-be-award-winning shows on there.

Bill & Ted vs. Fake Bill & Ted
22/09/2020 Duración: 15minWe watched Bill & Ted 3 and give our spoiler-free review of it, but then we did another Retro Pilot Review, this time watching the unaired Bill & Ted live action series. It stars a most heinous not-Alex-Winter and not-Keanu-Reeves. In fact, it's almost like Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves were somehow cloned but then the clones didn't have time to form properly. It's awful. We'll review it so you don't have to watch it... or maybe you do.

The Blackout
24/08/2020 Duración: 11minWell, we've reviewed some good ones lately so it only stands to reason we'd hit on a stinker. Get ready. Russia's got a humdinger of an action sci-fi film called "The Blackout" and we sat through the whole thing without saying dasvidaniya.

Space Captain: Captain of Space
10/08/2020 Duración: 13minWe found a little known gem that only made $5000 at the box office according to IMDB. We loved it, and we want to talk to you about it spoiler-free of course. Take a trip back in time to those Saturday morning serials from the '30's and '40's, a spoof of that genre that is truly funny. This film is proof you don't need a big budget or awesome special effects to tell an entertaining and hilarious story.

The Man Who Killed Hitler and then the Bigfoot
03/08/2020 Duración: 14minI know we review horrible movies on this show, and the title of this film sounds like it was written by a five-year-old, but sometimes a film with a bad title will really surprise you. Tune in for our review of this Sam Elliot gem.

Digging Up the Marrow
28/07/2020 Duración: 11minWe watched a surprisingly good little mockumentary entitled "Digging Up the Marrow" with Ray Wise. Honestly, if Ray Wise wasn't in this film and they would have cast a nobody, the film would be believable as a documentary and would keep you up at night. Because Ray Wise is cast, it is an otherwise entertaining and creepy film. Tune in to hear our review!

High Moon
07/05/2020 Duración: 17minWell, we may have hit the bottom of the barrel this time for sure. The 2019 low-budget film "High Moon" is the subject of today's podcast. The plot synopsis should tell you everything: "Long dead cowboy returns from the dead to fight a band of werewolves." Yep. It's as bad as it sounds.

Retro Pilot Review: TMNT - The Next Mutation
23/04/2020 Duración: 23minThis 90's television show featuring a Saban version of the TMNT crew is undoubtedly the "Star Wars Christmas Special" of the TMNT universe. Tune in to hear our take on the first two episodes of the series and how watching it now is different than watching it then.

What To Watch Whilst Cooped Up
10/04/2020 Duración: 31minCOVID-19 has kept us all in, and that's a good thing because we don't want to spread the virus. However, you may feel like you've run out of things to watch. Roger and Richard are here to help with some little known series for you to binge-watch today. You've probably never heard of some of these, and we have several suggestions for both adults and for kids. We hope this helps you get through this because we are indeed all in this together. Wash your hands, stay in, and binge some of these wonderful television shows.

Who Killed Captain Alex?
02/03/2020 Duración: 07minBilled as Uganda's first action movie, this film, made in a small village in Uganda and edited together on a computer built from spare parts is probably the funniest bad movie we have ever watched. It gave some of its actors tetanus, has some of the cheesiest helicopter effects ever made, and has a voice-over that is sort of like a Ugandan version of Mystery Science Theater 3000 but in an unintentional way. Listen in on our take about it, then go watch it on Amazon Prime.

What Did Jack Do?
10/02/2020 Duración: 20minOn this episode we try our hand at live commenting on a film. The film of choice this time is David Lynch's absurdist short film "What Did Jack Do?" It's strange in a very Lynchian way, and hopefully you can laugh and cringe along with us.

Velocipastor
03/02/2020 Duración: 17minOn this episode we get back to discussing horrible movies that are fun to watch. This week we watched "Velocipastor" on Amazon Prime. It was basically the story of a Catholic priest (not a pastor) who is scratched by a fossil and becomes a were-raptor. He's then befriended by a prostitute and has to deal with the death of his parents. It has a horrible velociraptor costume, ninjas for some reason, and doesn't take itself seriously... because if it did it would be more of a train wreck. Tune in for our discussion!

Mandalorian Musings
27/01/2020 Duración: 35minWe have been gone for a while on a long hiatus due to life issues, but we're back! In this episode we talk about the Disney+ series "The Mandalorian". Caution, because this episode has spoilers. We waited a while to talk about it because by now YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN IT ALL! It's great. We talk about some inside info about the series from a true Star Wars fan perspective, from a casual viewer perspective, and aggregate all the rumors we've heard online for you. We also offer some speculation as to what might be in the future for season 2.

Gojira vs. The Vampire Motorcycle
01/07/2019 Duración: 12minOur last major movie review: Godzilla, King of Monsters. From now on we are going to focus on bad movies and retro pilots. Our movie of the week is "I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle", a cult classic in England starring Anthony Daniels.
-
Dead Engines
18/06/2019 Duración: 30minWe saw Jim Jarmusch's new film "The Dead Don't Die" and provide a spoiler-free review. I mean, Iggy Pop has a cameo as a zombie and they didn't even have to make him up that much! Also, the movie of the week is "Mortal Engines", a somewhat watchable dumpster fire.
-
Superboy Needs a Kryptonite Whuppin'
04/06/2019 Duración: 19minWe talk candidly yet ever non-spoilery about the new James Gunn film "Brightburn". Movie of the week: Rim of the World... a true dumpster fire if we ever saw one.
-
The Babayaga Hits a Homer
21/05/2019 Duración: 20minWe went to see "John Wick 3" and provide our spoiler-free review, but man... It's AWESOME! Probably the highest rating we've ever given any film ever. Go see it. Also, we discuss this week's Movie of the Week: "Crazy Enough". It's a crappy Chris Kattan vehicle shot entirely in Oklahoma.
-
Endgame Is Not the End
06/05/2019 Duración: 30minWe finally talk about Avengers: Endgame which has hopefully given you time to see it. We give a spoiler-free review, discuss the future of the MCU, and then have a spoilery talk about the film but will warn you when we begin.

Hellboy Defies the Tomatometer
24/04/2019 Duración: 35minWe saw the new Hellboy reboot and offer our spoiler-free review. This is another film that Rotten Tomatoes dogged. Yeah, we love horrible films, but we spend a little time explaining how Rotten Tomatoes sometimes can't be trusted.

All the TV!
16/04/2019 Duración: 37minWe discuss the massive glut of good television both in streaming services and on regular old networks. There is nearly too much to talk about on this episode, so if you don't watch Game of Thrones and want something good to watch, tune in to this show.
