Merry Christmas ya filthy animals, it's the Would You Like Franchise With That Holiday Special Bonus Episode! This week we hang our stockings, warm up our eggnog and settle in with two absolute Christmas Classics, Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. 'Tis the season to recount the time Callan got Home Alone-d by his family in Brisbane, deck the halls with Kohl's scientific explanation of the relationship between shiny objects and the "Ding!" sound effect, and it's beginning to look a lot like Jack's most well-received intro wordplay of the show so far. KEVIN!!!!!

Coming to you LIVE from the complicated Ikea chairs and table Callan made us help him build upon our arrival at his house, it's Would You Like Franchise With That! This week, we put the beginnings of the highly influential Evil Dead horror franchise through its paces. Callan laments the demise of practical effects in movies, Jack admonishes the other two for not warning him that Evil Dead 1 includes a lengthy scene in which a woman is sexually assaulted by a tree, and Kohl extols the virtues of urban horticulture.

Listen to Callan enter a state of delirium having watched both movies back to back immediately before starting the podcast, enjoy Kohl maintain his "all sharks are telepathic" theory and join Jack in admitting that you kinda liked Jaws 3, and that you totally have a thing for Lea Thompson. In this episode, Jack gets (rightly) admonished for never having seen Jaws before, Kohl has an extravagant fan theory regarding inter-film shark communication and Callan pitches his idea for Deep Blue Sea 2: Great White Seniors. We're gonna need a bigger podcast.
