Almost Famous

Yet another hiatus is over and Caitlin has aged yet another year, however she kicked off her birthday by taking Alex to see Jeff Goldblum play jazz in Los Feliz. Topics include Pharrell Williams' interview with the Smith kids, a Boston man who asked Reddit where he should send his foodie brother-in-law to eat, parents who chose Pokémon GO over their child's safety, and creepy clowns terrorizing a South Carolina town. And because y'all had to wait so long for another episode, we super sized it as an apology. 

Alex met one of the twins from Big Brother 17's Twin Twist! Other topics include: The Kim Kardashian vs. Taylor Swift feud, the mess that was the Republican National Convention, McDonald's once again putting their faith in the internet, and all the problems cropping up due to Pokémon GO. Just shoot your arm out straight and you'll be dabbing in no time. 

Well, we're back at it again at Krispy Kreme! Caitlin got a new job and Alex got to go to the live eviction of a Big Brother houseguest. Other topics include a former employee of Nancy Grace's going off on Twitter and a real life modern day "Rear Window" situation in Amsterdam. Once again, the sound is wonky this week due to microphone issues on Caitlin's end but for the most part she's unfortunately audible. 

This week, Caitlin recounts her harrowing experience trying to go the bathroom at a Carly Rae Jepsen concert. Topics include Leonardo DiCaprio's sex life, Smash Mouth feeding all the twitter trolls, and a Florida Man story that explores the disturbing world of Adult Breastfeeding Relationships. Whip out your vape and throw on some noise cancelling headphones so you can fully enjoy this episode! 

Alex had his big show at UCB and Ms. Thing, Hillary Clinton finally clinched the nomination. Topics include a man who got breast implants for a bet, Richard Simmons being held hostage by a witch, Ted Cruz/Guy Fieri slash fiction, and Pokemon's latest Daddy, Professor Kukui. 

Alex experienced some trials and tribulations both at home and abroad and Caitlin joined Tinder and watched Dustin Diamond's sex tape. Other topics include a handsome horse taking the world by storm and an Old Man Yells At Cloud about a French man who is suing his former employer due to "burn out." 

Almost Famous is super-sized and all about food this week, starting off with Caitlin's experience at Alton Brown's live show. Topics include Domino's saving lives and solving murders, a man who requested Taco Bell after waking up from a coma, and the richest Florida Man we've ever encountered. Of course, it wouldn't be an episode of Almost Famous without there being some technical issues, so we apologize for the sound quality on Alex's end. 

Alex is furious over The Good Wife finale and Caitlin is anxiously awaiting Alton Brown's Eat Your Science live show. Topics include Nev Schulman's baby, a Florida Man Alex can really identify with, Gwyneth Paltrow's outrageously expensive goopy gold dildo, and Tom DeLonge's latest book. Don't tell Beyoncé how much Lemonade we snuck into this episode, okay?  

Well, folks, the month long hiatus is finally over now that Caitlin has settled in LA. So take a trip way back to 4/20 when this episode was recorded. Topics include: A bed that alerts you if your partner is cheating on you, a Go Fund Yourself about Amber Rose's former assistant and his energy, an interview with a bodyguard who had sex with a dolphin, a Florida Man about a man who changed his name to something that's a real head scratcher, plus a special Cindy story at the very end of the show. Next week's episode will commence Alex and Caitlin's permanent status as Face 2 Face podcasters!

Caitlin is finally pushed over the edge at home and loses her freakin' mind. This week is brought to you by internet trolls: Microsoft's AI twitter robot Tay trolls her makers, the UK government has to deal with a silly name for their new polar exploration ship provided to them by an internet poll which then leads to a discussion of Mountain Dew's failed campaign to have the internet vote for the name of a new flavor. Plus, a woman tries to sue Say Yes To The Dress for wanting to air her saying yes to the dress before her actual wedding. 

Alex did some improv in the dark and got discriminated against at the movies while Caitlin got into Zootopia discourse and has a crush on her dentist. Other topics are two piping hot Florida Man stories about The Hot Dog Hooker as well as another felonious sexually frustrated woman who is on a tight budget, and Gwyneth Paltrow's outrageously expensive smoothie. 

Caitlin grapples with questions of existence as a nanny, but finds no answers. This week's topics are The Oscars, Sam Smith, the heated Presidential race, a significant follow up to a previous Florida Man story, and another Benedict Cumberbatch confection. 

Primary season is reaching a fever pitch and Caitlin is feeling the tragedy of Jeb Bush dropping out of the presidential race. Our two big stories come from the UK this week, one featuring a man who changed his name to something kinda whacky and another about a new aviation-centric reality tv show hitting the airwaves this week. Plus, only hours after the episode drops, we'll finally know whether or not Leo got that Oscar gold. 

Caitlin recounts her graduation show from Feminine Comique, which of course was complicated by her mother. And then ding dong, Scalia's dead, honey! Other topics include an all too familiar mini Florida Man story, the reignited Kanye vs. Taylor feud, and McDonald's auctioning off their Special Sauce which is literally just Thousand Island Dressing and pickle juice. This week, Alex explains why freedom isn't free and Caitlin recounts her trials and tribulations at the Mac Store. Pop culture topics include ‪Leonardo DiCaprio's Serbian back up Oscar, another classic alligator themed ‪Florida Man, and ‪Gwyneth Paltrow's fancy new club.

Not a lot is going on with Alex and Caitlin, but boy is there a ton of drama this week. We have TWO feuds (now with Feud Theme Music), an Old Man Yells At Cloud about One Million Moms and Olive Garden, a Florida Man who chose porn over life, and a strange man-seeking-woman Craigslist ad. But in the end, Wiz wears cool pants. 

Caitlin became an Old Man Yells At Cloud at the movie theater but it didn't matter in the end because "Carol" changed her life. Topics this week include a Go Fund Yourself about a powerball loser, a new fangled invention called a Guy-Fi booth, and a Zac Efron edition of Your Fave Is Problematic. FYI: There were a few sound issues this week but for the most part, they're not terrible. 

Alex and Caitlin have finally joined us in the new year, keeping things on brand as Alex once again is confronted with a Harry Potter character comparison and Caitlin is besotted with another balding television personality almost twice her age. Topics include Sean Penn's interview with El Chapo, a Go Fund Yourself about Flat Earth truther Tila Tequila, and the attorneys from Making A Murderer. On a sadder note, condolences go out to the friends and family of Amy Regan, a college friend of Caitlin's who sadly passed away earlier this month. She was a talented singer/songwriter and her song "Wise Love" is featured at the end of the episode. 

Caitlin and another notable critic weigh in on Star Wars after she finally sobers up from her flight back to Chicago. Other topics include: Steve Harvey's Miss Universe mishap and an erotic novel about Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz. Thanks for sticking around through the long wait and happy 2016!

Caitlin and Alex weigh in on the biggest news stories at the moment: Star Wars and politics. Topics include Donald Trump, a girl who is very attached to a Justin Bieber cardboard cutout, and two Florida Men with their own unique sexual proclivities. Then Caitlin finishes out the episode with a kink shaming rendition of "Santa Baby" just in time for Christmas.
