What kills more, speeding or speed limits set too high? I break down an article I saw titled, “Stop Driving 5 Miles per Hour Over the Speed Limit. California has a plan to only have new electric vehicles for sale by 2035. Is that plan possible? It will mean advancements in battery technology. One of the problems with navigation software is the reliance on crowdsourced or late input data into the system. There is a company that believes they have solved part of the problem by creating a way for official sources to input real time road closures or lane closures or other roadway restrictions in real time that is then delivered to your favorite traffic app. The small UK tech company is called One.Network and they have a traffic operations software that they developed that can help all of us as we drive.
