When you look at the long list of blockbuster movies released every year you're sure to find some that don't quite live up to their expectations. 2016 in particular has been in a year of disappointing tent-pole films. So this week, in their second TRIFECTA episode Parker, Chris and Olivia will be chatting about Warcraft, Independence Day: Resurgence, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Sometimes in order to bring our fans great content it requires us to watch great films. Other times it requires us to watch something really shitty. This time was one of those times. The second one. One of the really shitty times. This week we watched Transylvania 6-5000 (1985). I'm sorry.

The film making language is always evolving. People across the globe view films through the lens of their individual cultures and customs, and it is only natural that those who would add to cinema would do so through that same lens. Who Killed Captain Alex? (2010) is prime example of this. It was made in the slums of Uganda, Africa by a team of filmmakers who dubbed themselves "Wakaliwood" and set out to make Uganda's first action film.
