On this special Thanksgiving episode, we welcome producer Howard Kazanjian to the show! He is the producer of Return of the Jedi and Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark among many others! What was it like to work with George Lucas...AND Steven Spielberg...AND Alfred Hitchcock?? It’s an amazing hour+ conversation where we even talk about the most dangerous amusement park rides.    We’d like to dedicate this episode to the late J.W. Rinzler who initiated this interview. Star Wars Visions is here!     Star Wars Visions just premiered on Disney+, and it’s time to delve deep into the messages, music and magnificence of these nine anime-inspired short films from Japanese studios. Din of the band F-105 joins us with some terrific insight. In fact, each of us came from 3 unique perspectives, and changed each other’s minds on ones we didn’t initially care for. Skywalking to John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl! We have a special treat for you. On September 3 we braved crowds, traffic and Hollywood to attend the ‘Maestro at the Movies’ - John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl.'    It was the first of a 3 night engagement, and what an amazing event. Composer David Newman conducted the first half, and after the intermission John Williams took the stage. This issue features one of the first in-depth interviews with George Lucas, and we share all the good parts! Lucas speaks about the struggles of getting Star Wars off the ground, storylines he wants to revisit in future films (this is the first time he mentions Vader getting burnt up in the volcanic pit), he also talks about how he would be so happy to go back and redo the special effects since he was so disappointed in them, and so much more. Hello, friends! This month, we’re gabbing about THEME PARKS, a subject Sarah and Bryn have a lot of experience with.   Question 1: What was your favorite Theme Park experience as a kid, teen and adult?   Kid   Not Afraid: Bryn begins with the tale of the time her former fighter pilot father took her on her first upside-down roller coaster, the Corkscrew at Knott’s Berry Farm in ‘80s Buena Park, California. Risk-taker: Sarah’s also got a roller coaster memory for us: When it came to amusement park time for the Heitman family, the formula was Sarah and dad bonding on roller coasters, and her mom enjoying watching them from a bench with a nice coffee. Sarah’s first experience was on The Rattler at Fiesta Texas, a wooden roller coaster.    Teen    Living in an ‘80s movie: Bryn takes us for a trip to a slightly alarming teenage memory of her 8th grade field trip to Disneyland, but redeems herself with tales of sultry summer nights at all-ages dance club Studio K at Knott’s Berry Farm. Bryn didn’t know this at
