Spa 2014, Danny picks up Mercedes pieces
25/08/2014 Duración: 37minDoes this one need any describing at all? It's "the one with the Mercedes incident" That'll do, right? The Pubcasters were ready as ever to react to the Belgian Grand prix at Bar Aprés in Birmingham, but I don't think anyone was ready for what took place on lap 2 Also listen out for the person who least wanted to talk on the podcast ever. Awkward city. Couldn't escape the car crash of an interview, had to keep digging! Want to come join us and react to a race in person? www.motorsporinpubs.co.uk is where you need to head Or tweet @formulapubscast to get your thoughts aired on the show! To monza then, I'm sure all of this kerfuffle will have died down by then..right...RIGHT?

Hungary 2014; Hungaro-rain
28/07/2014 Duración: 47minIt rained! It actually rained!! The Hungarian Grand Prix of the ages is now over and finding merely one or two moments of highlights amid such constantly exciting racing is an impossible task. It was as close to motor racing perfection as we're likely to ever get. And thankfully there was a PACKED Apres Bar in Birmingham City Centre full of loudly opinionated fans to discuss the many talking points this race transpired. Another fan-favourite from Danny-Ric, who seemingly no-one has a bad word to say about. Back to front action from Lewis who had to fight for every lap it seemed. Alonso dragging his Ferrari further than it'd gone so far this season. Crashes, passes, safety cars, strategy, controversy....and they say F1 needs spicing up? @formulapubscast Recorded at Motorsport In Pubs Birmingham www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk

Germany 2014; Flips, Fires Fun and Frustration
20/07/2014 Duración: 44minSo much to talk about!! This year's German GP featured a huge amount of talking points, which is fortunate for us because this podcast is all talk. Welcome to the Formula Pubscast for Germany 2014 as the F1 nuts down at Birmingham's apres bar witnessed and reacted to another one of those races that make you proud to be an F1 fan. Featured in this episode are Peter's one F1 stat he trots out every few weeks, Button spotting a surprise appearance from head of Downforce Radio, Jake Sanson, and I think even the censorship Bully makes an appearance in there somewhere. You can always tweet to @formulapubscast if you want to interact or even enquire how you can appear on the pubscast. Or why not log on to www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk to find out which location near you is showing you the race and let you sample such a great atmosphere yourself. Hungary follows only 7 days after the race, can it be this good again?

Silverstone 2014; Poetic Justice
06/07/2014 Duración: 32minWhat a difference a race makes! No negatively needed this time, wall to wall action leads to wall to wall positivity down at the Birmingham location of Motorsport In Pubs. Sadly most of the regulars who opine their views on the pubcast were actually at Silverstone sweeping up Kimi Raikkonen's mess, but there was enough of us at the Apres Bar to react to an amazing, 1980s style old school race with it's start crash, red flag, sparks, and traditional battling with cars with differences in straight line power vs cornering speed. Proper racing! Championship starts here, see you in 2 weeks for Hockenheim!

Austria 2014; Limited Track Action
22/06/2014 Duración: 37minWarning: The views and opinions expressed in this Pubscast may be WRONG. They represent one internet idiot with a podcasting device and not F1 fans as a whole. Yes, I've been told. After a qualifying order that promised so much, the Austrian GP ended up fizzling out quite early on leaving the fans down the Motorsport In Pubs event trying to make the best of it. OR were they actually enjoying it secretly, but didn't want to say? Featuring: the best F1 joke you'll hear all Podcast. And then another one. Also a bit of chat on the proposals for the ridiculous new rules coming into the sport next season. And no football. Woooooh. As ever, you can find your local motorsport in pubs location so you too can debate how exciting or not F1 races are with your fellow fans. Log onto www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk Or you can tweet the pubscast at @formulapubscast. Silverstone Next: That's always good, right?

Canada 2014; Danny-Vic
09/06/2014 Duración: 30minSometimes...things don't quite go as expected do they? A thrilling Canadian Grand Prix was met with hysteria and bafflement down the MotorsportInPubs location in Birmingham, listen for the most surprised fans opinions you're going to hear in a very long time! Because sometimes the real world intrudes on the pubscast, this particular episode has a different flavour. As your host and question-asker had a train to catch, he started the pubscast slightly earlier than usual during the final laps of the race. This led to all the late race developments being caught live as he pretended he could commentate and still make sense of the wild action before him and the rest of the pubscast crowd. Lets listen in to find out how that went down! The usual plugs are still relevant, you can get in on live race experiences like this by logging on to www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk Or you can listen to the pubscast in Itunes if you prefer, as well as broadcast on www.downforce-radio.co.uk Lets hope the next race in Austria can

2014 Indy 500 Special
06/06/2014 Duración: 35minBonus Formula Pubcast fun taking place in the immediate aftermath of the Monaco GP during the build up to the Indianapolis 500. F1 fans constantly wonder how americans view their most European of sports, well how would a pub-full of F1 fans view that most American of races: The Indy 500 Sadly due to trains leaving and general late night travel issues, the full reactions could not be documented at the end of the race, but dedicated Indy500 fans and new fans alike were there to give the biggest race in America (quiet, NASCAR fans, it still is ;) ) a viewing. Opinions are varied, knowledge is not important, we're all part of a greater motorsport world than Mr Ecclestone would have us believe so lets enjoy this extra slice of F-pbs-ca fun in preparation for the next proper episode for the Canadian GP

Monaco 14: Mercedes Family Duals.
28/05/2014 Duración: 50minThe Jewel in F1's crown, or when it comes to team Mercedes, the Dual in F1's crown. It's Monaco time! The first part of a special 2-part Formula Pubscast sees the biggest crowd of the season so far descend on the MotorsportInPubs event to banter, opine and even introduce some #f1smut to proceedings. Before the race, there was only ONE question to ask. Afterwards, there were many. Did Nico Fake it in qualifying? Did Lewis in the race? Does anyone begrudge Marussia their points? Will anyone be able to slow Korrie's fast talking down? And will Paul be able to remember the new name of his own event and Podcast any time soon? All these questions, and a lot more you probably haven't thought of, will be answered in this edition of the Formula Pubscast. Part 2 featuring a selection of F1 fans viewing the Indy 500 for the first time will be up next. Do view our website at www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk or download the pubcast via itunes. And if you would like to ask any of these fools a question, hit up @for

Formula Pubscast Spain 2014; End Game
11/05/2014 Duración: 40minThe Pubscast officially becomes Formula Pubscast, because: reasons. However, the content is pretty much unchanged, so don't worry about the packaging, we still have a hugely opinionated and entertaining group of fans gathered to watch the Spanish Grand Prix, organised by Motorsportinpubs. And the finish in spain was a little bit like Bahrain, a slow start built up into a thrilling climax, a little bit like a massage. Wait, I didn't say that. Listen out for some new guests, host Paul's ONE joke repeated 5 times to different attendees and Spanish Manish. Also a lot was said on the performances of Lewis and Nico, Vettel's climb through the field, the TV director deciding to cut to Rosberg's girlfriend at a crucial moment and of course a few laughs at Pastor Maldonaldo's expense. Well, he brings it on himself! If you'd like to join in the fun, head to www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk to find out where you can watch a Grand Prix of various kinds, 2 and 4 wheels along with other races on down your local. Tweet us

The F1 Pubscast; Bahrain 2014; Flipping Nora!
06/04/2014 Duración: 47minA race for the ages, what a spectacle and what an atmosphere to enjoy down the pub! One of the most combative and exciting Grand Prix in many a year (...at Bahrain? What are the chances?) leads to a pumped up room full of fans eager to share in the joy of a barnstorming Bahrain beauty! Luckily the fans are more than willing to take the lead with the banter and questioning as your host Paul Hadsley's brain is reduced to jelly after those buckets of adrenaline flooded through his system. 2 weeks now until China. Admit it, you're already logging on to www.f1inpubs.co.uk to find out where you can watch it live with your fellow fan aren't you?

Australia 2014; His And ERS
16/03/2014 Duración: 54min2014 begins, 40+ F1 fans in a pub at 6am to opine and react to the first Grand Prix of the season, what could go wrong? After the most fascinating off-season in living memory, the new rules threw up many questions about the competitive order of the F1 field, questions that perhaps the first GP didn't answer fully. But that doesn't matter for our F1InPubs attendees, who once again packed into Birmingham's Apres Bar to enjoy the race with each other, all those people heading to a pub at 6am to get their latest fix eh? Thank goodness coffee seemed to be the strongest substance they were buzzing on! The regulars are dotted around amid fans old and new, and if the first event of 2014 is to go by, both F1 itself and the F1InPubs events are off to a great start. And since I mangled all the details in the actual podcast, thanks to Downforce Radio for taking us under their wing for 2014! www.downforce-radio.co.uk Worth a look. And a listen. So one race in the books, you should by now already be heading to www.f1

Over the course of the Autosport International weekend F1InPubs founder Kris Brown was fortunate to be granted some time with Classic Team Lotus head and "son of Colin", Clive Chapman. They talk about the state of F1 and Team Lotus, Classic and Modern, as well as a few other stories that might not have ended up in the F1 history books! www.f1inpubs.co.uk

Brazil 2013; Highs and Lows
26/11/2013 Duración: 46minAs the old Destruction Derby game on the PS1 used to say: "It's the last race of the seasonnnnnnn" And what a race it was. Like the 2013 in a nutshell, it couldn't quite live up to the anticipation. But while the race might not have delivered on track, the fans certainly packed into the Apres Bar in Birmingham to give their opinions on the race and also their personal high and low points of their season of F1 watching. Also keep listening right to the end of the Pubcast for some exclusive F1InPubs news. So that's it for 2013 then. Thanks to all of you for listening to the Pubscast and hopefully we'll be back in 2014. Keep an eye out on the F1InPubs website (www.f1inpubs.co.uk) for all the off-season gossip and news about how F1InPubs itself will be shaping up for the next season of viewing F1 Action down your local. Any comments or questions, or if you'd like to tweet us your own personal high and low points of the season, use the hashtag #f1inpubs or tweet @f1inpubscast Have as good an off-season as p

Abu Dhabi 2013; Go Nuts For Donuts
03/11/2013 Duración: 21minThe best you can say about the Abu-Dhabi GP 2013 was that it was an above-average race, action wise. The worst that you could say about the 2013 Abu-Dhabi Pubscast is that it was entertaining if nothing else! Paul Hadsley and his new understudy "Jamie Oliver" Jamie Davies captured all the opinions and banter of a great crowd of F1 fans down at the Apres Bar in Birmingham, listen to all the fun down the pub here! 2 weeks time we head into the final pair of races with the American GP. If you want to watch it down the pub in YOUR area, head to www.f1inpubs.co.uk to find out what pub closest to you is showing the race. @F1InPubsCast

One Movie, One Pubcast; Interview With The Producers Of One
25/09/2013 Duración: 43minHi, welcome to a special bonus F1InPubscast. My name is Paul Hadsley and I'll be occupying your left ear for this podcast! I, along with Kris Brown, head honcho of F1Inpubs, have brought along some special guests (and they will be occupying your right ear!) to talk about an F1 Film they have been producing. It's called "One" and it details the changes in the sport from the 60s era up to the modern day, focusing specifically on safety and how that has developed over the years. It's a lot more exciting than I make it sound here, I promise, if you don't believe me, view the trailer for it and see how many amazing interviews they have managed to pull off: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGyg9p4pP…S21suy5NiEP_SCj4Z So, to that end, Kris and I talked to the producers Michael Shevloff and Paul Crowderville about their film and what you can expect from it, while also throwing in questions about the state of current F1 and a few F1InPubs classics. Enjoy! p.s. this is their facebook for those interested: www.facebook.co

Singapore GP 2013: Singa-poor.
22/09/2013 Duración: 34minWell, we had fun! A less than enthralling race led, as ever to banter and excitement down the pub. Listen this week for "tales from Singapore" since it seems a lot of people in the room had visited this race in previous seasons. Also "Mr X" appears to give us the inside news from Mercedes for both this year and their development for 2014. Mr X did debut at Monza to great fanfare but sadly that podcast was lost. We suspect sabotage on behalf of Mr X's employers! All this and MORE, will definitely make you think the Singapore GP wasn't as bad as it seemed. Listen also for my panicing about if it's worth getting up for Korea if I'm going to be sitting all on my own.... Comments as ever to @f1inpubscast about the Podcast or @f1inpubs if you'd like to blah blah national pub watching blah blah (you know the drill by now ;-) ) www.f1inpubs.co.uk

Belgium 2013; Dis-Spa-Pointing?
25/08/2013 Duración: 40minRemember this? This whole F1 Pubcasting malarky? Been a while hasn't it? As for the race: Dis-spa-pointing or Belg-yawn? Franc-bore-hamps? I'll stop that now, but it was indeed a shame that after such a long gap, F1 returned to put on a Belgian GP that didn't live up to our expectations. But no matter, as the F1InPubs mantra goes, the duller the race the more time we have to mess around in the pub and that is reflected in this race's Pubscast as Paul Hadsley talks to the regulars and the newbies and tries to cheer them up after a disappointing race. As ever you can join in the fun of the Pubscast by going to www.f1inpubs.co.uk and finding out which pub in your area is showing the race, or indeed tweeting with the hashtag #f1inpubs during the race. Any other comments on what you hear, tweet @f1inpubscast Next race: Monza. Onwards and upwards! *Update* Apparently the intro disappeared somewhere....oh well, I'm sure you won't be crying over it. If anyone feels short changed by their lack of Intro I'm will

F1InPubscast Hungary 2013; The Surprising Ring...
28/07/2013 Duración: 44minAn exciting race in Hungary? Surely not! As ever lots to talk about in the Pubcast for Hungary, any time there's a contender for pass of the season AND contentious penalties then it is certain to generate debate with the regulars (and newbies!) at F1inpubs Birmingham Listen also for only the second ever bleep needed from an irate Grosjean and Button fan! If you'd like to come down and join in the fun of F1InPubs in your area, log on to www.f1inpubs.co.uk or follow @f1inpubscast for news of the Pubscast!
