  • F1InPubscast 2013 Monaco; Magical Monaco Mayhem

    27/05/2013 Duración: 42min

F1's most prestigious race didn't disappoint in 2013. As ever this podcast features a crowd of people watching the F1 races at the Apres Bar in the centre of Birmingham, and this race they were treated to a thoroughly entertaining race at the jewel of the crown of the F1 calender. The race was full of drama and excitement, slightly too much drama as far as the pubcast was concerned as the red flag delay meant the large crowd of people around the pub quickly dissipated as soon as the chequred flag flew. Perhaps F1 had taken up too much of their afternoon already. No matter, those that stayed to talk were in high spirits, you can even listen out for a few bloopers in this episode, there might be mistakes but the show must go on, once the record button is pressed, whatever happens in the pub stays on the podcast! Congratulations to Nico Rosberg for a great Victory and as a final note all at F1InPubs wish a speedy recovery to the legend that is Murray Walker after his recent hospital treatement. See you in 2

    13/05/2013 Duración: 50min

Bad news everyone, this episode has been released a bit late! But Good news everyone, your usual host, Paul Hadsley, was taken a bit ill, the poor mite, during the recording of this podcast so previous co-host Manish Patel takes over presenting duties for this episode: The Spanish Grand Prix And what a race it was? Well, it wasn't great, but that's the advantage of the F1InPubs concept; If the race doesn't deliver on track then suddenly you have a room full of fellow fans to cheer you up and keep spirits high and that comes across in this pubcast. In 2 weeks time, the big one: Monaco. A race that is either a classic or a damp squib. if you'd like to watch the race LIVE amongst fellow fans, log on to www.f1inpubs.co.uk to find out the closest F1inpubs location to you. And tweet with the hashtag #f1inpubs to get your comments read out on the podcast!

  • F1InPubscast 2013 Bahrain; The Big Debate.

    21/04/2013 Duración: 48min

If you don't look at first place, one of the best races ever! The return of F1 action at a sensible time brought a large crowd to the Apres Bar in Birmingham to witness Sebastien Vettel storm away from the field and the rest of the field squabble amongst themselves for the accolade of best of the rest. On the Pubcast, we see some new voices join the regulars as our personal F1 Family attenting the F1inPubs events just keeps on growing., Keep listening for the very opinionated debate between Korrie and Chris at the end about the state of current f1. Full on racing vs tyre strategy, just WHICH is better?

  • F1InPubscast 2013 China; An Inverse Sandwich

    14/04/2013 Duración: 38min

What's an Inverse Sandwich I hear you say? Well, be patient and I'll tell you! If a sandwich is 2 slices of boring bread with a "fun" filling, an inverse sandwich would be 2 instances of fun filling wrapped around a boring bit of bread in the middle. Clever people will have already worked out the comparison between the Chinese GP and an inverse sandwich, it was a race that had a race's worth of excitement within the first 20 laps, then calmed down into a procession for the next 20 laps before Vettel changed his tyres and ensured a thrilling finish right to the chequered flag. This obviously provoked a lot of disussion at Apres Bar, our location in Birmingham for F1InPubs and this very Pubscast. Listen in to hear the full explanation of the Inverse Sandwich theory, reaction to poor Webber's awful luck (must be the new hair, Sampson) and Vettel's interesting strategy. Next up: The Bahrain Grand Prix only 7 days (and a few hours!) after this race. We'll be at the Apres Bar for more F1InPubscast action. Wi

  • F1InPubscast 2013 Malaysia: Weatherless storm on track

    25/03/2013 Duración: 45min

A race that will live on in infamy for quite a while; the Malaysian GP started wet, finished dry but had a Red Bull created storm that engulfed the whole sport after the finish of the race. In F1InPubs' Birmingham location of the Apres Bar in Summer Row, we were dealing with a storm of our own: A Snowstorm. This depleted our crowd slightly but there was still enough people around to give their forthright views on the Red Bull situation and the other stories of the race: definitely not one to miss! As ever, you can join us at the next event in China in 3 weeks time (SO LONG...booo!) To find out more details please log on to www.f1inpubs.co.uk Or use the hashtag on twitter #f1inpubs For Pubcast questions, I'm @f1inpubscast So, lots to talk about in the 3 week gap, the debate will never cease until lights out in China!

  • F1InPubscast 2013 Australia

    18/03/2013 Duración: 34min

Returned, we have. Before, there wasn't F1, then suddenly, there was F1. Yes, we are indeed back! The return of the Formula 1 also brings with it the return of the F1InPubs events around the country, and the return of those have the unfortunate side effect of bringing with it the return of the F1InPubscast. Sorry about that everyone, can't be helped, but we'll get through it together! The first race always brings with it a special atmosphere taking place as it does in the early hours, dedicated fans give up precious hours of sleep to watch their favourite sport live and the result is a great atmosphere that makes for a great podcast. Those with a keen ear might be able to detect a slight difference between the pre-race predictions and the actual race result. But only if you listen very, very carefully. Thanks to all involved in the podcast and the F1InPubs events that it is based at. We'll return to the Apres Bar in Birmingham at 7:30am for the Malaysian Grand Prix. Please direct any feedback to @f1

  • F1InPubscast Paul Hembrey Pirelli F1 Interview 8 days

    21/01/2013 Duración: 06min

At the Autosport Show in Birmingham we were fortunate enough to be granted a few minutes with Pirelli's Motorsport director Paul Hembrey about their past, present and future within the sport. Teaming up with myself and Manish for this interview is F1Zone.net's Phil Horton making his podcast debut.

  • F1InPubscast Interview: Adam Parr Former Williams CEO

    07/01/2013 Duración: 29min

"F1 isn't really a big business" "The fans have the power" "Sir Frank thanked me when we won in Malaysia" Relax! You haven't fallen asleep over Christmas and woken up in March! You've missed nothing, this is an F1InPubscast Interview special. Former Williams CEO Adam Parr took time out of his busy schedule to talk to the F1InPubscast, and since Kris the Boss did all the hard work it was only right he joined in on the interview too. Adam's main reason for talking to us was to let F1 fans like us know about the Graphic Novel he is releasing about his time in F1, but he also found the time to talk about his departure from Williams, butting heads with Bernie Ecclestone and tried his hardest to incite an F1InPubs fan revolution. You can find the book on his website, www.adamparr.net/ or you can follow him on Twitter @adam_s_parr to ask him about it. Next up: Autosport International show. Let us know if you're going! @f1inpubscast or @f1inpubs
