Act I We start off with 6 Balls. 2 Balls are missing and we’re not sure where he/they are. Tommy talks about his upcoming Spartan Run and gets interrupted by his girlfriend. Then we get into some of the weird questions players are asked at the NFL Combine. Some of them seem to go over the line. What are some of the strangest questions? Act II Tommy ducks out to try and locate Eric. Meanwhile, Marc & Mike talk to two NFL Draft prospects from VA Tech, Greg Stroman and Tim Settle. They’ve just returned to school after the Combine, so we get a first-hand account of what goes on. They talk about growing up together and how they’re preparing for the NFL Draft. Follow them at @IAM_GSIII & @tim_settle Act III Tommy returns with an update on Eric’s whereabouts. March Madness is upon us so we forget about Eric and talk about that for a bit. Then we find out about some NFL trades that could shake up the Draft.  

Act I Welcome in to the 8Ball Sports Show. It’s been so long since we’ve all been together that we needed to introduce ourselves again. We all catch up on what we’ve been up to. What do Tommy, Mike, and semen all have in common? Eric also tells us how erotic Bluetooth can be. Act II Eric laughs. Then we do an Olympic review. Did anyone watch the games? And what did we all think of the results? We also preview some of the new events in the 2020 Olympics. Then we move to the Oscars. Who actually watches that anymore? We move seamlessly into listener questions and find out which celebrity keeps ignoring Mike. Act III How much Knob Creek has Eric really been drinking? The Combine starts this week. How much do we love that? And what strange deals could the Cleveland Browns make? We also review possible landing sites for Kirk Cousins. We almost wrap up with rule changes for MLB and NFL. We finally Do wrap up by talking about March Madness.

Act I In our first mini episode, the skeleton crew of Marc & Eric start the show with a listener question. After we answer for Mike & Tommy, we move on to the Olympics. Why are Russian athletes still competing even with the sanctions? And America owns snowboarding. We just do. What effect is the NHL’s refusal to allow their players to participate in the Olympics having on the games? We wrap up with Shaun White and Luge Groupies. Act II The Second Act begins with The NBA Celebrity All-Star Game. Who ARE these people? Next up…The Washington Redskins possible 3rd franchise tag of QB Kirk Cousins. Could this end up in court? We answer more listener questions about drinking and blacking out. We end up on the bizarre story of former MLB All-Star pitcher, Esteban Loaiza.

Act 1 This week begins with Marc & Mike talking with Leon McKenzie from SureSports. SureSports provides loans specifically designed for athletes. How did he get started in this highly specialized field? How are loan amounts determined for athletes who haven’t been drafted? What are some of the strange things he’s seen? Act 2 Tommy and Eric join us a little late, but they brought Carl McDowell, from HBO’s Ballers, with them. We talk about the Super Bowl win for the Eagles and the aftermath for Philadelphia. We preview a few listener questions. Act 3 Tommy had a doctor’s appointment this week and we talk about his imminent death. Then we go back to listener questions. Carl tells us a little bit about shooting season 3 of Ballers. Then we get the news that Josh McDaniels changed his mind about the Colts head coaching job.

Act I We begin the show with Tommy’s family issues. It appears he insulted someone bad enough that his mom calls him during the show. We quickly move on to the big NFL trade this week. The Washington Redskins trade with the Kansas City Chiefs for QB Alex Smith. Where does this mean for Washington QB Kirk Cousins? Is it a good trade or not? And speaking of trades, how about that Blake Griffin trade in the NBA? Act II This Act begins with speculation as to where Kirk Cousins will end up. We transition to what a Boston radio host said about Tom Brady’s kids. We also discuss The Cleveland Indians decision to slowly phase out the Chief Wahoo mascot. Marc finds some of the most offensive mascots across the country. Act III In the final act, we go through some of the odd prop bets for the Super Bowl. We also answer more listener questions. We also discuss the breakup of the band Rush and how bad the Grammys are. We also make Super Bowl predictions and find out if any of us will be watching the game.  

Act I How bad is an Eagles/Patriots Super Bowl? Is it worse than Tommy’s grammar? Are there any real winners here? The XFL is back! Kind of. It kicks off in 2020. Will people remember by then? Act II Super Bowl Champion Devin Thomas joins us. We talk about his time in the NFL and how he became a Super Bowl Champion! What does he think about this year’s Super Bowl? He’s written a children’s book and talks about how that came to be. Then we test him on Michigan State trivia. Act III We have MORE listener questions. This is rapidly becoming our favorite segment. We answer questions about Super Bowl Squares, Tiger Woods, Joe Buck vs David Hyde Pierce, & a lot more!

Act 1 Tommy discusses his move to minimalism. Then we jump into the NFL Playoff games. Eric gives his thoughts on why Steelers fans want Mike Tomlin fired. After we talk about the possible outcomes of the upcoming games, the focus narrows to the Minnesota Vikings/New Orleans Saints game. What an amazing/embarrassing finish! Could the Vikings make it to the Super Bowl and have it as a home game? Act 2 This segment is all  about listener questions. We received a lot through Twitter, DMs, and email. Alabama won the NCAA College Football National Championship. What did the guys think about Alabama’s surprising halftime move? How does Nick Saban continue to stay dominant over all of college football? How long can he keep it going? Act 3 The NFL Playoff began last week. What were the results? Who was impressive and who will be gone soon? And how did the First Annual 8Ball Sports Random Fantasy Football League end? Who won and who lost? Did anyone ever bother to change their lineup throughout the season?

Happy Holidays, 8Ballers! This week, we’re highlighting some of our favorite moments of Season One. Act 1 We were recently joined by Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame trustee and part owner of the Daytona Tortugas minor league baseball team, Rick French. We talk about the nominees and how Rick got involved in baseball and Rock and Roll Act 2 Comedian Forrest Shaw spent some time with us and described how sports gambling took over his life and how he overcomes his addiction every day. He’s almost like a modern day Ebenezer Scrooge. Act 3 Join us as we discuss the aftermath of a disastrous interview with real life Jerry Maguire, Leigh Steinberg. We do this while Eric ends up doing the show from a bathroom in an alley on the USC campus.

Act 3: The NFL Injures Reserve list is FILLED with big names like Andrew Luck, J.J. Watt, and Deshaun Watson. That led to a crazy trade deadline. What was the biggest trade? How will the conferences shake out? And how will big injuries effect TV viewership? Can we get some picks from Forrest?

Act 1 Its Tommy’s birthday week (or 10 days, but who’s counting). He went to see the Lakers and Game One of the World Series. Somehow Mike & Marc got involved from the other side of the country. And the party isn’t over yet. What were Tommy’s favorite moments? And where is Mike? We wrap up the act with revised World Series predictions. Act 2 Former Redskin and TCU linebacker Robert Henson joins us to discuss Redskins/Cowboys rivalry week (and rivalry weeks in general). Is the preparation different? With so many injuries, do the Redskins have a chance? We shift to Robert’s time at TCU. He was voted one of the greatest TCU players of all time. What was his time there like? And what is he naming his son (who was due the day we recorded this)? Act 3 It’s Halloween! What are we all doing? Somehow that evolves into Joe Girardi being fired by the Yankees, more NFL games in the UK, and Eric offering to buy eyeliner for Tommy.

Act III We start off with an update of our Random Fantasy Football League. Next, Tommy and Eric discuss their favorite autograph story. They quickly shift into their favorite hobbies from the Jersey Shore. Tommy and Mike share the Hollywood Gossip section. We have a bonus 8Ball Question tonight.
