like the glass blower makes beautiful creations out of sand, the blacksmith makes very strong and mighty things out of metal and like our father who has created us like clay and is constantly molding us: all are refined with fire. With so many things that consume our attention in today's world, it can become very hard to see what is right in front of us. That is our heavenly Father God. How much can our relationship with our family grow if we never speak to them? The same goes with the relationship with Jesus. He wants that growth. He wants that relationship and He wants our attention.When we struggle in life He wants us to lean on Him and even when things are going great we should thank Him and praise Him.So get on your knees or stand and raise your hands to give praise to the one that has a love for us that is never ending and all powerful.

We are like dirty stones covered in the mud of our sin. Jesus is so pure that He can wash us clean and remove the stains we put on our lives.

Is your life on a good foundation. Our buildings and houses are built on top of a concrete slab or a foundation. Why? Because if the building was built on anything but a very strong and solid foundation it will not last. It will come down. It is the same for our lives. If we live out lives on a weak foundation we will come tumbling down. Jesus must be our foundation if we are to last and grow. Make Him your cornerstone.

For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18)
