    Dr. Kate Pate is a neurophysiologist who has been conducting research for 15 years in a variety of different areas, including neurotrauma, respiratory neurobiology, mental health, redox biology, and combat trauma. Traumatic brain injuries are more frequent in the military these days. It wasn't long before he became the pilot of Saddam and his family. After experiencing the positive effects of psychodelics himself during a trip to Peru, Jared knew this was his purpose: to help others like himself overcome the demons he knew too well. Both share their own personal experiences, the challenges of using psychedelics as part of the healing process and having to face their demons, how the process shouldn't be taken lightly, and how it's helped them in their healing journey.     Within 75th Ranger Regiment there are many military occupational skills that are supporting roles known as "low density". Although many are within the Regimental Special Troops Battalion (RSTB) at Fort Moore (aka Ft. Benning), there are also opportunities to join units within each battalion.     The Battle of Haifa Street was a battle fought during January 2007 for the control of Haifa Street, a two-mile-long street in downtown Baghdad, Iraq, pitting American and Iraqi Army forces against various Sunni insurgent forces between January 6 and January 9, 2007 (phase one), and then two weeks later on January 24 when US forces launched a second attempt to clear Haifa Street of insurgents once and for all. This battle was the precursor for clearing operations that would set the conditions for "the surge" which ultimately neutralized insurgent groups in this part of Baghdad during the spring and summer of 2007. In Jeff Morris's book, "Legion Rising", he describes his time as a commander of a unit that is caught up in one of the fiercest firefights of the war, the battle of Haifa Street.
