Ach! Ish habe Hogwarts auf mein Wand! That's right: Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince and Bruno come under fire from Jon, Jen and Paul, plus This Week In Movie History, three film recommendations from Delorean car owner Stuart Nicholls (and Back To The Future isn't one of them), plus Desert Island Flicks looks at the best child actor performances.

Jon and Paul weigh into Public Enemies, My Sister's Keeper, and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, plus discussing whether 3D is the future, Desert Island Flicks covers best documentary, and This Week in Movie History.

Normal movie bantering is resumed - Transformers 2, Year One, and Man on Wire all under scrutiny, prompting discussions on the merits (or lack thereof) of big dumb action films, and also bemoaning ill-thought-out comedies. Paul mentions his Delorean experiences, we're unusually mocking towards Jen (maybe becase she had a week off) and Desert Island Flicks covers vampire movies. Oh, and of course This Week in Movie History.

Movie Banter becomes TV Banter for one week only - Paul and Jon cast their critical square eyes on new shows Dollhouse and Better Off Ted, established shows such as 24, Prison Break, Smallville, Pushing Daisies and Lost, and take a particular look at great final episodes, notable Scrubs and Seinfeld.

Paul, Jon and Jenny banter about The Hangover, Sunshine Cleaning, marvel at Amy Adams, and muse on whether the reality of The Terminator or future-setting of Terminator Salvation make for more engrossing viewing. Also a chat with comedian George Egg, Desert Island Flicks covers "best trailer", and as always, This Week in Movie History.

Paul, Jon and Jenny put Terminator Salvation through its paces, together with Last Chance Harvey. Also covered are the aging actor population, the cinematic vision of the future they'd most like to live in, movie recommendations from comedian Matt Price, and of course This Week in Movie History.

This week up for bantering by Paul, Jon and Jen are more bad ideas for movie prequels, musings on which of the new acting generation could replace the old guard, a review of 12 Rounds, discussing the recently-announced remake of Total Recall, the TV movie of Discworld novel The Colour of Magic, and thoughts about books that should and shouldn't be made into movies. A companion to last week's episode - Paul and Jon take a look at movies from 1987, which Jon has long-believed to be one of the best ever years for classic cinema. That may be overstating it, but a ton of classic 80s movies were released then, including Robocop, Predator, The Princess Bride, The Untouchables, and many others...

A special episode focusing on the films of 1984, which Paul argues is a significant year in movie-making terms as it was the starting point for a few major franchises, such as Terminator, Police Academy, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Ghostbusters, and more. Apologies for the late posting - Paul got married on Saturday, with Jon being best man, so we've been busy! He's not neglecting his honeymoon, in case anyone's concerned - we recorded this in advance, together with next week's special, which will cover 1987 movies, so stay tuned for that one...
