An abandoned tire wakes up in the desert southwestern U.S.A. and goes on a murderous killing spree in Quentin Dupieux's 2010 homage to American B-movies, Rubber.  Also, news and a most interesting death.

While Mr. Salamander attempts to announce through a microphone held up with loose springs and zip-ties, Hank reveals a heretofore unknown passion for all fantasy sports, and B.K. talks about some interesting deaths.  Movies this week?  Homicidal (1961) and Source Code (2011).

As promised last time, here's part two of the review of The Adjustment Bureau (2011).  Hank really liked it (or did he?).  A very special guest makes an appearance to explain the MPAA rating system as it used to be, while Johnny Depp plays a chameleon in Rango (2011), an animated feature that isn't rated G.  Also, B.K. tones down his accent in this episode's "Interesting Death of the Week".

This week, the greatest Greek film to hit the silver screen since Hercules Unchained -- academy award nominee, Dogtooth (2010).  Also, Phillip K. Dick wrote a short story that was turned into a movie.  Actually, he did that a bunch of times.  This is one of them.  And like the new hobbit movie, we review it in two parts.  Here's part one of the review of The Adjustment Bureau (2011).  Plus, B.K. talks about a couple of interesting deaths and a couple of things especially interesting about one of the deceased.

It's our Oscar's wrap-up show (also known as "Why do we bother watching the Oscars show").  You'll be more entertained by our program than James Franco was by his -- that's a guarantee!

Hank discovers another movie he wish he'd known about earlier: Director Alexander McKendrick's Sweet Smell of Success (1957), starring Burt Lancaster, Tony Curtis, and Martin Milner.

Gorgo (1961), I Think We're Alone Now (2010), and there doesn't seem to be anyone around (except for Mr. Salamander, Hank, and B.K.)

This year's Super Bowl had less than super-memorable commercials, so the Videodrome guys briefly talk about the one good ad that was "leaked" earlier in the week.  Also, Hank fumes over the snooty Philidelphians (not) appearing in The Art of the Steal (2009).

Finally, B.K. comes up with an interesting death just before we hit the air!  But who could it be?  Listen to find out!Also, we discuss The Social Network (2010), All Night Long (1962), and House (1977).

We've got a short show this week, because the station closed early for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.  Still, we managed to cram in everything that you love about the show: some news, an interesting death, and a review of the movie version of Freakonomics (2010).
