Growing up in the midwest left a lot to be desired for Beth Bell. She wanted more. After she grew up she moved to southern CA and to NYC. Learning to live through grief is something we all must encounter. Doesn't mater if it is personal, financial, mental, physical or spiritual...grief is grief. How we handle it is how we handle other aspects of our lives as well. I will tell my story. The story of my life and the journey that I have been on to lead me to where I am today. Khadija Ali is the Director at Hope for Widows Foundation. I am also a widow and will be sitting on the board of directors for this great organization. By pairing new widows with women who have been where they are now, we help make connections that begin the healing process. Through our peer support, resource section, initiatives and conferences we support widows through the entire grieving process.
