What does the GM think of the team's 3 - 1 - 1 start? More importantly, Huff looks back on the 1992 Grey Cup Champions in advance of the Legacy Game this weekend vs.  the Hamilton Tiger Cats. 

Including Doug Flutie and Riders GM and head coach Chris Jones taking another shot at Calgary Stampeder head coach Dave Dickenson.  

Pitts, Crawford, Spunge and Pee Wee - outstanding recievers from the 1992 Grey Cup Champions who will be honored this weekend in the Legacy Game.  Pee Wee joined me on the show to talk about the team, his nickname and growing up in Compton. 

He wants to remind fans to bring a non-perishible food item for the Calgary food bank as it's the Purolator Tackle Hunger game and he will try to do his part by sacking Kevin Glenn. 

Looking back on another loss in Montreal and looking ahead to the Rider Nation.  Could the Stampeders be looking at brining a few players off the 6 game injured list early?  We cover it all with the coach for Tom's House of Pizza. 

He needs 8 catches to become the 4th player in CFL history to reach 1000 in his career, and if everything goes according to plan he will pass Ben Cahoon moving into 6th place on the CFL total recieving yards on Friday night.  Plus, Nik's new secret weapon - the halo!

Did you do anything heroic on Canada Day?  Ryan Dodd did as he set a new pending World Jump record flying 254 feet!  It's been 15 years since a Canadian has broken the jump world record and Ryan joined me on Sportstalk to chat about it. 

The former GM of the Toronto Argonauts is back in Calgary and following his passion!  Working with young athletes to make them better.  However, as Jim explains, this is not your old fashion Jim Barker school of football.  The Can Pro Football Academy is new and exciting and something we have not seen before. Calgary is the test market in partnership with Ernest Manning High School and if it work, Jim would like to take it international. 

She is part of the class of 2017.  Danielle Goyette is a two time Olympic gold medalist and an 8 time World champion.  Now she is going to be a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. 

He will be remembered as one of the best long snappers in CFL history.  Dave Rowe sits down with Randy to talk about his retirement from the game and what's next. 

The Flames made a spash this weekend at the NHL draft making a big trade with the New York Islanders.  

Returner Roy Finch has been suspended for two games for violating the CFL drug policy, but this was not a player taking a performance enhancing drug to beef up, he was taking medication to treat attention deficit disorder.  We also break down the season opening 31 - 31 tie with the Ottawa RedBlacks.

He is the Rodney Dangerfield of the CFL!  He gets no respect or no love from the voters of TSN top 50 player list, but Stampeder fans know how important this player is to the team's success. 

The CFL regular season kicks off on Thursday night in Montreal and our CFL insider will be on the broadcast for TSN. 

A big trade for the Flames this weekend as they aquired Mike Smith from the Arizona Coyotes.  We caught up with Mike on Sportstalk. 

Getting to know the new quarterback for the Calgary Stampeders.  Ricky Stanzi beat out Mitchell Gale for a roster spot and now he's looking to move up the depth chart.
