Bramham International Horse Trials - 6th - 9th June 2019

The Scarborough eventer is thoroughly enjoying his debut Bramham Horse Trials. He spoke about his cross country experience moments after completing the round.

Bramham round up: Day Two

Yorkshire's Ollie Townend leads the Seniors CCI 3* event after a strong dressage score of 37.9 on MHS King Joules. Ollie talked to the press after securing top spot.

Emily aboard " Charlamagne" managed a dressage score of 43.9. That was good enough to put her into second spot in the U25 CCI 3*.

Local rider Nicola Wilson lies in joint 3rd place in the CCI 3 *. "Bulana" managed a score of 40.4.

The leader after the dressage in the U25 CCI 3* is Tom McEwen. His score of 40.4 on "Toldeo de Kerser" was the best of the day.

The first and only Chinese Olympic equestrian eventer Alex Hua Tia has had a good day at Bramham. His horse "Don Geniro" managed a dressage score of 40.1.

Bill Levett had a good dressage with " Shannondale Titan" as the score of 39 puts him second in the Event Riders Masters.

American rider Clark Montgomery talking after his dressage score of 36.5 was good enough to lead the Event Riders Masters.

In his 7th year as course designer at the Equi_trek Bramham International Horse Trials, Ian Stark says he'd be happy to design for another 7!

No doubt about who the in form rider is at the moment. Gemma Tattersall not only has 2 horses in the top four in the CIC event but had a decent dressage in the ERM ( Event Riders Masters). The score of 45.8 was one of the best of the day.

Pippa Funnell produced a personal best dressage on "Mirage D'Elle" of 42.3 in the Event Riders Masters.

The main title sponsor for Bramham, Equi Trek has just signed a new 3 year deal. Managing Director Tom Jannion explains why his company continues to back the Yorkshire's International Equestrian event.

Sammi Birch has led the Senior CCI from first thing Thursday morning. Her dressage score of 38.7 leads the way

Kitty moved into third place overnight after the German rider Pia Munker withdrew

Holly spent much of the day sleeping as she is suffering from a nasty cold. But that didn't seem to stop her producing the second best dressage of the day (40) on DHI Lupison.

Lauren is the top ranking British Rider in the Seniors CCI event at Bramham. She managed a dressage score of 41.2 on " Quality Purdey"

Sophie was happy enough with her dressage score of 65.9 on Be Be The THird. Dressage is the weakest of the events for the horse.
