Today, we welcome the multi-talented Elliot Racine to the broadcast! He's got a new album dropping and we're stoked to dive into his story. We had a break last week, and we are ready to get behind the mic of Studio 2B again. We can see what adventures Tim got into being out in the unknown, and David tried something out that he's never done before. Let's get into it.

What an honor to have these two in the studio this week. Vessna is David's counterpart in the duo Salt & Sage, and she is in town this week to play some music. Right along side her is Koof, the trumpeter extraordinaire. Fresh from a show the night before, we dive into life in Philadelphia, their time spent in Switzerland, and perhaps dive into global warming. An all around good time was had by all. Today we welcome MJ Lee. to the broadcast! MJ has been working incredibly hard on her debut album and we have the pleasure of catching a sneak peek. Let’s dive into the decision of leaving a day-to-day, clock-in clock-out scenario to follow your higher musical dreams. Also have a couple laughs as well. There’s big news in David’s life, and we’ll catch up with Tim’s week. Can we deny the way of the world to make our own way? Are we trapped in our past or are we living through our future? This week, we are proud to welcome Alex Plays to the broadcast! Before going in, we essentially knew nothing about this gentleman. Only that he was a witty, affable gent. Turns out this man has done some amazing things in his life on this planet. We hit it off quickly and have plenty of laughs. Malgosia gives us a call, and then we get to hear some of his music. Today we welcome back the great Beth Marlin to the broadcast! Releasing her new EP ‘Railroad’ soon, we’ll first dive into her past as a rock n’ roller, and her BMG days doing a children’s program. Then she’ll share some more current tunes. Tim takes his co-hosting seat, and we’ll dive into navigating responsibilities versus desires. He’s bringing with him a beautiful duo, Feathers & Lead, and we hear some wonderful music from them as well. Finally, Behind the Mynd veteran and dear friend, Beast, joins us as he in town from Idaho. Let’s find out how it feels to be constantly rambling on the road, going gig to gig, mile after mile. This week we welcome Julian Müller to the broadcast! After living his days in Germany, England, and Ireland Julian has recently received his permanent resident card and can now share his music with us! We’ve had the pleasure of seeing him create harmonies on many notable San Francisco stages, from the Fillmore to the Great American Music Hall, and his vocal quality is unmatched. It’s a real honor to welcome him today and to allow him to share some of his creativity with us. We dive into a lot of bread talk, and teach J exactly what porchetta di testa is. We get a couple call-ins and definitely get a couple laughs in. Enjoy!

Today we welcome The Deer all the way from Austin, Texas! They are on tour and had a bit of time before their show at Hotel Utah. We’ll get to learn about life on the road, their latest third album release “Tempest & Rapture”, and get to know them as human beings in general. Tim takes his co-hosting seat, and we’ll learn about his week running Doc’s Lab and reveal what surprise David had this weekend. Today we welcome the great Tom Rhodes to the Mynd! Tom is an incredible singer/songwriter from the Bay Area and we’re pleased as punch (what a weird phrase) to have him join. We’ll be diving into his 5th upcoming album release “Who You Were” and learn about the inspirations behind it. Tim joins us in his usual co-host situations, as we’ll jump into YouTube search histories, weird Santa Cruz getaways, and all around tomfoolery. Oh, and Fuddruckers.

This week, we welcome Yogi and friend Jun Lee to the broadcast! Traveling from the jungles of Costa Rica to the farmhouses of Italy, to the FCCFree studios in San Francisco, Jun shares with us the life of a transient yoga instructor. Towing along with her will be her man-mate Ted, and we'll dive into his budding yoga-focused adventures. Also surfing. A lot of wetsuit size talk in this one. David doesn't know a thing about it. Tim takes his co-hosting seat and we’ll see how running the venue Doc’s Lab has been going. An overall beautiful broadcast. Feel inspired and enjoy!

Today we welcome Andy Hoffman to the broadcast! Andy is a longtime friend and cinematographer, traveling the world to capture the visual spectacle that is life. Our musical guests were supposed to be The Dead Woods, who are performing at Neck of the Woods on the 29th, but due to scheduling miscommunication they cannot join us today. Driving to Portland and doing a broadcast in San Francisco at the same time is difficult. As always, Tim joins us in his co-hosting seat. We dive into Idaho fights, psychic vampires, and bridge jumpers. Enjoy!

It’s our inaugural episode! Behind the Mynd is proud to join the FCCFree team and we kick off with two wonderful guests. First up we welcome Ashleigh Thomas, the artist/creative responsible for Behind the Mynd’s logo/image! We dive into what it’s like to be an illustrator in the Bay area, we share tales of ghosts and Roman trodden roads, and how it feels to not have dreadlocks anymore. Our musical guest is long term friend Scarth Locke, who shares his latest musical project as well as his impeccable wit. Enjoy.

For our last show at Mutiny Radio, we welcome two powerhouse characters Peter Feliciano and Aaron Ford. We dive deeep into the debate over artist and singer, with a sprinkling of astrology talk that only Aaron Ford can conjure up. No Tim on this one, but David's sister flew in from Idaho for his show at Doc's Lab and enjoys some snacks with her girlfriend Emily by the burrito mic. Enjoy.
