Jenna brings back the schwing in this week's episode. We got the usual news, Peterson asks about what random chores/jobs would make a good video game, we talk about QA in video games, and we play some BBQ Foodio Games. Trent reviews Dyson Sphere Project and we reroll the Dice.

In the news - Facebook/Meta/Oculus accounts no longer really kind of required, Unity CEO has strong words for mobile devs, Nintendo buying animation studio, China approves a round of games, Bayonetta horny toggle, Stopwatch '22, Sony acquires Bungie, Dr. Disrespect grift, Embracer Group video game vault, skate., Russia developing their own engine. JD does a First Impression for a Goonies board game, we do a new segment called Revisiting Hours, and Trent gives his first impression of Dyson Sphere Project.

JD and Peterson go completely off the rails this week. Seriously, it's pretty wild. In the news - Gamers run off gaming veteran Ron Gilbert, Mass Effect 4 gets some good news, a blockchain gaming console built by choads, Diablo Immortal is doing well, Skull & Bones "gameplay" reveal, Stopwatch '22, and ReedPop takes over E3 2023. We do a ton of kudos, including Peterson's review of the Uncharted movie. We play some summer drink Foodio Games, we play Reindeer Games, and Trent takes a mulligan.

Peterson is out this week but JD, Trent, and Jenna do an adequate job. We sure miss Peterson when he's gone, though, huh? Don't worry, he'll make an appearance in post. You're welcome. Also, some news - Overwatch 2, PS5 shortages and XBox sales, Steam Deck (ick) production, Niantec layoffs, and a Blizzard acquisition. We do a first impression of God Simulator and Jenna does a rundown for Kingdom Two Crowns. Trent picks his Dice game.

This week Trent, Peterson, and JD are all back in person and there is a fair amount of giggling. Chris Pratt is playing himself as Mario in the upcoming Mario movie, HoN was shut down, and NetEase can't release Diablo Immortal in China. Later we talk about some terrible gaming tattoo ideas and JD gives a First Impression Rose to Serious Sam 4.

Aaron joins us to talk some news - Valheim on Game Pass, Sonic Frontiers producer doubles down, Embracer CEO gets defensive, Diablo Immortal making some money, Overwatch 2 removing loot boxes, Activision investigates Activision, and Bethesda announces Fallout 5...kind of. We talk TMNT: Shredder's Revenge and Peterson reviews 7 Days to Die.

April Fools!! JD and Peterson are convinced that every news story is an April Fools joke. There is Sony's subscription service, Breath of the Wild sequel is delayed, E3 is canceled, Sony layoffs, Game Pass Family Plan, Crypto game gets scammed, and more. It's all a prank, I'm sure of it. Then JD does a song parody for us and we play one of our wackiest Foodio Games yet.

Epic raises money for Ukraine, next Witcher game announced, More Activision stuff, Netflix acquires Boss Fight, no building in Fortnite, and a leak of a forthcoming announcement on the new XBox. We talk about improving romance in games and we pitch some games to announce way too early. Peterson picks his Dice game.

JD gets really cocky this episode after he sees the Hogwarts Legacy State of Play. We also have quite the rotation of hosts on this one. Skull & Bones is looking for insiders to test the game in the current state, Reggie Fils-Aime on Facebook, Overwatch League has no sponsors, and Amazon acquires MGM Studios.
