Give Me Murder Or Give Me Death

This week Lena provides us with a number of different stories about murders and one dumb way to die involving a cactus.  Other stories cover the gamut, from Avril Lavigne to a fake CIA agent, this week is all about variety (and murder and death).  We also take a look into the psyches of both Alex and Lena as they become very self conscious about what they are, in fact, doing with this podcast.

In honor of our lucky episode number 13 we present you with another episode all about cannibalism!  Strap in for tales of people eating people, all from the land of Germany.  This gets really gross and disturbing, but bear with us because it turns out that the way people who are into cannibalism talk about cannibalism is unintentionally very hilarious.

Much like David Berkowitz's mind, this episode is a little disjointed and nuts!  Lena and Alex ruminate on the Son of Sam killer, what kinds of people should stay in basements, and a bunch of other tangents they get lost on.  Please enjoy this strange journey with us.

The milk boy, oh the milk boy, he was the last person to see poor Julia alive, but at what time?!  A truly intriguing mystery, does the husband's alibi check out, if he didn't kill her who did?  Was William Wallace (yeah that's his name) a chess playing master planner, or a patsy for someone whose motive for murder is unclear?  Also Lena and Alex accidentally reveal their stance on Donald Trump, whoops!!!

Rumored to be "Jill the Ripper" but probably she wasn't, Mary Pearcey definitely killed 2 people in 1890.  Orgies (maybe), jealousy, intrigue, and murder are some of the things that are in this episode, enjoy the story of the poor Hogg family.

Early 19th century Scotland, 2 Irishmen, this one has accents.  Alex tells the tale of two men who murdered many people in the name of science!  Actually it was for money because medical professors were having such a hard time getting fresh corpses, anyway we have all the details!

This week Lena recounts the story of the notorious and gross and horrifying Albert Fish!  Why did she do this, is it because Alex really hates needles?  Maybe!  

A good old fashioned Hollywood murder mystery.  A famous silent film director with a squeaky clean image tragically murdered, but was he hiding something?  Who did it...the butler, the maid, possibly the neighbors?  Nope, it definitely wasn't any of those but there are plenty of tantalizing possibilities.  Wade into the grimy muck of Old Hollywood with us!

Look, Yeti did it.  If you're not familiar with the incident please enjoy while Lena recounts the story of 9 scientists in the former USSR who wind up dead during a mountain expedition, and no one knows why (except it was totally Yeti)!

Was Peter Stubbe a serial killer or a werewolf or both?  A tale of gruesome murders in Medieval Europe, with lots of German accents.

The hosts (mostly Alex) start to wander into some comedic territory that is very possibly in poor taste.  This week Lena hosts as we explore a rather recent and very horrifying crime.  The Cheshire Murders took place in Connecticut in 2007 over the course of one awful evening.

Alex regales Lena with a frankly disgusting and horrifying tale of murder and cannibalism committed by a Japanese exchange student in Paris, France in 1981. We swear you'll laugh though.

Lena and Alex discuss a sextuple murder that occurred in Amityville, NY and the supposed supernatural events that it brought on. Alex does not believe in ghosts...at all.

The Santa Line Slaying was a nationally publicized incident that took place in Cleveland, OH in 1971. A fight between two men waiting with their children to see Santa resulted in one of their deaths, the man who lived was Terrence Howard (the actor)'s father. This is the story of the incident and how batpoop crazy Terrence Howard turned out to be.
