[ Part 4 of "Are You A Disciple?" (Discipleship & Mentoring Series) ] Was there ever a time when God asked you to do something you don’t feel like doing? Yes, there may be times that He will ask us to give up something that may hurt. But He assures us today that the safest place we can ever be is in His perfect will. Just like Jesus who showed us the picture of total submission, we can also experience victory in our lives & have triumph over our enemies once we learn how to completely trust that our God has our best interest at heart. [ “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails” -Proverbs 19:21 ]

[ Part 2 of "Are You A Disciple?" (Discipleship & Mentoring Series) ] Do you sometimes feel that there is more to life than what you have now? It's true. God has designed a fruitful and a meaningful life for us. We were created to be a blessing! But that purposeful life will only come to pass once we choose to follow God and decide to be a true disciple of Jesus. Let us be wise and choose to follow where He's leading us. He promised to show us the way. [ "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." - John 14:12 ]

Contrary to what the world believes, there is freedom, victory and peace in obedience. Our great destiny is hidden behind those little instructions from God that we choose to obey. Being a disciple or follower of Jesus is not just for people who works inside the Church. All of us are called to follow Him. And as we allow the Lord to work through us, little by little, we become closer to Jesus and experience victory like Him. [ As the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect His glory even more." -2 Corinthians 3:18 ]

[ Discipleship Mentoring On-Air: "Maturity" ] As a child of God, we were given not only the gift of salvation but also the power to live differently. It is our Father's will that we live a peaceful and abundant life. Jesus was very clear when He said that if we remain in His love, our joy will be complete. But along with that promise is our responsibility to pursue maturity in our walk with Him. By loving others and making disciples, we'll be able to live a victorious life that we can enjoy and give glory to our Father in Heaven. [ "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete." - John 15:11 ]

Lies bring people down. Making them lose opportunities and favor. That's why if we want to be victorious in every battle, we must always tell the truth. Nobody can harm us if Jesus is on our side. If you are in a tough situation right now and you don't know what to do, do not fear. Just tell the truth and it shall make you free. ["Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you."-Deuteronomy 31:8]

Our commitment to God is very important. As Christians we need to be reminded at all times to never set aside the things that we do for Him, no matter how small it is. The way we treat God's presence in our everyday lives determines the level of blessings that we will receive from Him. The Lord said, whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much. Honor God with your commitment and see what He will make happen for you. [ "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things." - Matthew 25:21 ]

Is there anything or anyone that you love more than God? The true "Heart Test" happens when the Lord is asking us to surrender something to prove His position in our hearts. To be challenged is not easy, but the rewards are priceless. Jesus said, anything that we give up for Him will be returned to us "a hundred times" over. This only means that He wants to bless us more! Always remember that God will never take away anything that He knows will be good for us. Just trust Him. ["And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life." - Matthew 19:29]

Before the Lord Jesus Christ went to Heaven, His final command is for us to go and make disciples. This only shows that reaching out & nurturing the lost is very important to Him. Sharing the gospel is not easy. But the good news is, when we choose to follow Him, not only are we enriching others but also ourselves. We get to experience God's amazing power in our lives and be like Him. It's about time we take a step further and desire for maturity in our walk with Him. The Lord has placed us in a position of power and it is His desire that our lives will bear much fruit for His glory. ["Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28:19-25]

God tests us in our need. Whenever we have money problems, God has provided a way for us to get out of it. By following His principles, we can be assured that no matter how impossible our situation is financially, God will miraculously provide. He can make a way for us, when we feel like we are in a dead end. Today, God invites us to look up and eagerly expect great blessings and provision for all our needs. [ "If you keep my commands, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love."-John 15:10 ]

Do you sometimes wish that all your financial needs will be taken care of in an instant? That the money you have in your bank account will be more than enough to meet all your needs? The Bible declares that it is God's perfect will for us to live a complete & abundant life. But there is a process. As soon as we are ready to go through it, the sooner God will show Himself faithful to His promises to supply our needs according to His riches and glory. [ "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work." - 2 Corinthians 9:8 ]

[ Part 2 of Multiplied Blessings ] You can find peace through trusting God above all else. You can only have one Master. This world may tempt you into believing that money, influence or connections is the answer to your problems today. That is not true. The answers is in God alone. Everything is under His control. Today, start focusing your eyes on Him. Believe that He will hold you by your right hand and lead you to the good life He has planned for you. [ "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." - Matthew 6:24 ]

Jesus wants us to have “a full and satisfying life” without getting bogged down by things that don’t add value or meaning, or things that pull us away from Him. Do you need His help today? God’s message is simple. Everything that we need is IN Him and if we seek Him FIRST, then, whatever we need will be taken care of. Let us not look at money as our source for everything but to God and Him alone. Always remember that our God is everlasting, infinitely rich and glorious. [ “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” – Matthew 6:33 ]

Your prosperity is connected to your purpose. When we acknowledge God as our source and follow His will for us to share our blessings, we will experience what it means to "truly live". The Lord Jesus reminds us to lay for ourselves treasures in heaven. Everything is in His hand and there is nothing He will not give if we choose to follow Him. [ "Lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal." -Matthew 6:20 ]

( Part 3 of The Gift of Rest ) Regardless of where you are in life, realize that in every stage of your journey, "rest" is required for you to level up to the next phase. Remember that even God rested & was refreshed after His work. He wants us to do the same, because resting allows us to appreciate the journey & not just the destination. It is a gift that He really wants us to enjoy. [ "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10 ]

God doesn't want us to be tired all the time. He wants us to rest. In fact, commands us to do it. As Christians, we all need to take a break to restore ourselves. Taking the time to rest allows us breathe in and discover God's comforting embrace in the midst of our busy schedules. [ Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." -Matthew 11:28 ]

Money can never give us true peace and satisfaction. And whenever we put our trust in our own strength, we will realize later on that all our efforts is still not enough. God is reminding us today that everything in this world can fail us. The only thing that holds up when the going gets tough is our faith in God. So if you want peace of mind right now, remind yourself that the only security that you need in your life is the Lord. You are safe with Him. Just trust Him. [ Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." - Hebrews 13:5 ]

We will never understand God’s entire plan, our minds are much too small to comprehend His infinite wisdom. Maybe you have been waiting for God to move, but God is also waiting for you to show your faith by obeying His leading and direction. This is a new day! Stretch your faith and begin to follow God's will for you. "Take delight in the Lord and He will give you your heart’s desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and He will help you." Psalm 37:4-5

Can anything separate us from the love of Jesus? The Bible declares, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from His love. Jesus wants to be one with us and share His glory. He came that we may have life and have it abundantly. [ "Indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:39 ]

Where can we find true happiness? In the Bible, Jesus shared with us the great formula for happiness. By having a pure heart and a good attitude in a difficult situation, we open the door for God's Presence to enter our lives. In God, we can experience a deep sense of happiness that nothing or nobody can ever give us. "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." -Psalm 51:10
