Basketball Conference: The Acc Football Podcast

With the conference licking its wounds after a rough Week 4, we move to a slate with some very different headliner-level games than we expected just a month ago. North Carolina and Miami start the party Thursday night in Coral Gables, before Virginia visits NC State and a Josh Jackson-less Virginia Tech visits newly-ranked Duke. The guys are here talking all that and more, including making spread picks and official ACC Picks of the Week!

Week 4 in the ACC was rough enough that Joey and Mike couldn't stand to recap it all alone! They welcome in Lauren Brownlow of 99.9 The Fan and WRALSportsFan.com to break down a huge upset over Virginia Tech, Boston College getting blown out on the road, Wake Forest getting wrecked by Notre Dame, and much more!

The guys are back previewing the ACC's interesting Week 4 slate, featuring a combination of several conference and non-conference match-ups. The Demon Deacons host a top-10 Notre Dame team that could be ripe for an upset, Clemson travels to Atlanta to take on a struggling Georgia Tech team, Louisville tries to get right against Virginia, and newly-ranked Boston College is riding the D-Train to Lafayette to take on Purdue! Joey and Mike pick all of the week's ACC action against the spread, and of course give their ACC Picks of the Week! All this and more as the season continues to get more interesting!

With the ACC's slate of games in Week 3 games heavily impacted by the impending Hurricane Florence, the guys are back to preview the games still due to be played. Boston College and Wake give us the first Thursday night ACC conference game of 2018 in Winston-Salem, Georgia Tech tries to exercise their road game demons at Pittsburgh, and the Florida State Seminoles try to rebound from a rough start in a place where really good teams go to lose: the Carrier Dome! All that, and more!

Week 2 was not kind to the ACC, featuring several rough out-of-conference losses (Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia), some extremely underwhelming performances against lesser competition (Louisville & Florida State), and an injury that might change the course of the season in the Coastal. The guys are back to sort out what we saw in Week 2.
