Shortlistied for a Total Theatre award at the 2017 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Snigel & Friends is a show aimed at the under 1s. The show invites its audience to join an inquisitive snail and friends, in their cozy home underneath the leaf canopy; a colourful and sensory world, designed by Laura Hook. They dance, play, sing and make music in the undergrowth while uncovering secret treasures. Fifty years ago a new choir was launched with a performance of Walton’s epic cantata Belshazzar’s Feast. That choir was Brighton Festival Chorus, now established as one of the finest symphony choruses in the UK and an integral part of the Festival.
