    Why is there pain and suffering in our lives? Sometimes it is because we live in a sinful, fallen world. Other times it is because of our own sinful choices we make. In John 5, the man who had a physical problem had suffered with this infirmity for 38 years because of his rebellion against God. But Jesus heals him and tells him to sin no more. Jesus tells believers to do the same. Jesus has healed our broken hearts and tells us to walk in obedience to Him, to go and sin no more.
