We discussed the Unemployment Compensation issue, retirements, labor participation rates, jobless numbers, school/COVID issues, work from home opportunities, and other related reasons.

Mark Lawrence and Joe McGranaghan discussed removing US Rep. Liz Cheyney from GOP leadership in the House. Mark said she should be demoted because she is now voicing the party line, and Joe argued that more common sense, truthful, independent, free-thinking leadership is exactly what the GOP needs. An argument ensued. Some listeners, and Mark, said "she should keep her mouth shut," but others argued women should be permitted to speak.

Mark Lawrence and Joe McGranaghan discuss the impact of teacher's union contributions to the democratic party, the fact that some unions don't want teachers back in the classroom and how in-person education is better. Mark simply asked the unanswered questions; Are districts observing safe, best practices, where teacher's unions don't wish to return to class, what is the racial factor in all this, and are teachers genuinely concerned about spreading the disease to children and their families.  We also discussed home schooling, cyber schools, charter schools and the 'remote learning' that schools are doing today.

Mark Lawrence and Joe McGranaghan host State House member David Rowe, discussing his support of three referenda on the state spring primary ballot this year. He also discussed his not being vaccinated, the state budget, the child sexual assault statute of limitations lawsuit action, and his support of transgender girls in high school sports legislation. During open phones, Joe and Mark argued about the transgender girls in sports issue.
