Be clear minded and alert. Being clear minded is linked with the hope we have. Are you ready to Endure? To keep making Jesus known? And can you do it with great patience?

We are called to be a people of unity and consistency but when you have unity and consistency battles are going to start. Be intentional, know your weaknesses and know your enemy. The enemy opposes us because : 1. I bring pleasure to God. 2. He is powerless to attack God. 3. He wants to prevent supernatural assistance.

Jesus is the only one who can really transform our pain. Will you invite Jesus into your story? Will you invite Him into your pain? Will you allow God to use your transformed pain to transform others?

Embracing the Father's Heart (Part 1) / David & Kris Toyne by Grace Community Church

David and Kris continue on from this morning's talk, looking at the cycle of healing when dealing with difficult relationships with mothers and fathers.

There are three types of people who follow God: 1. When it interests them 2. Out of obligation (religion) 3. To the very end.

Mark took a leap of faith to uproot and move into inner-city Craigavon to work alongside kids whose life aspirations would normally be dictated by their class. When the church moves in, things happen.

We hear a lot about the 'Father Heart of God' but we forget the significance of the Mother Heart of God. God brings comfort and nourishes us like a Mother. Genesis 1:26-27 Isaiah 66:11-13 Matthew 23:27

Do good to all people especially to those who belong to the family of believers.(Galations 6:10)

We're living in a world where waiting is unpleasant. We need everything now. But God asks us to wait.

'to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up' Ephesians 4:12

- Jesus refuses to assume - Listen before speaking - Listen before labelling - Listen with all your self. hearing is an act of the senses. listening is an act of the will.

Being a good neighbour comes from being sure and certain of who you are: 1. Guard your self talk. 2. Stop comparing yourself to others. 3. Have an attitude of gratitude. 4. Add value to others. 5. Do the right thing even when its hard. 6. Practise small disciplines daily. 7. Celebrate the small victories. 8. Have a positive vision on you life 9. Take responsibility for your life.

How do we engage with people from broken families? How do we break the brokenness?

Gareth looks at the story of Isaac and Ishmael and where two major religions: Christianity and Islam parted ways. What is the example God showed us that maybe counters our own approach to people of other religions and cultures? People are trapped by the culture by which they find themselves in. Are we? Are you? We must not let our fears and prejudices get in the way. Following God's example we should take initiative, serve and respond.

Neil shares his hopes and dreams for Grace Community Church in 2018. We are Family on Mission: witnesses in Jerusalem and in all of Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.

Jesus is calling people to a new way of radical life, love and serving.

if you want to experience something you haven't experienced before, you have to do something you have never done before. God wants a full hearted response not a half hearted response. Loving God with all our hearts, our souls, our strength and our minds.
