Only found on Hulu as part of Blumhouse's "Into the Dark" full-length feature series, "Pilgrim" is a goofy yet disturbing tale of what happens to a family that is not so thankful for what it has - and somewhat-improbably based on a true story. Happy Thanksgiving, dear listeners! We are truly thankful for each and every one of you.

Nodding heavily to Stranger Things and all the other similar movies we grew up with in the 80s, it took a sharp turn and ended up waaaaay darker than we expected. And kudos for that.

Wild with creativity and carried by two incredibly talented actors, we felt like we stumbled into something really special when Craig dug up Scare Me on the Shudder streaming network. Check it out!

Not that it doesn't TRY to be funny. With an all-star cast helmed by Jeff Goldblum, Ed Begley Jr., and a super-sexy Gina Davis, it should've worked at some level. But maybe the Du Pont Chemical Corporation just isn't cut out to produce films after all. Anyway, even if the laughs are groaners and come from the least-intended places, you could do worse for Halloween. We tend to appreciate this kind of Universal-movie-monster stuff this time of year a little better. Thanks, Vincent, for the request!

If you learn nothing else about Witchtrap, you must know this: It is NOT a sequel to Witchboard! It just has the same writer, director, actors, poster art, and villain character design. It's super-dumb, but its saving grace is that it also has: Linnea Quigley! Enjoy the episode, you chuckleheads.

This Korean flick involves a father fighting for his daughter's life as the town where he works as a cop becomes overrun by a strange kind of sickness. Universally regarded as fantastic, we look at it from our own unique perspectives and give you our own take.

Pumpkinhead is a morality tale about the nature of vengeance, and (spoiler alert) we basically had nothing but good things to say about it. If you haven't seen it yourself, check it out before you listen to our chat. And no, there's no creature with a pumpkin for a head in it. That would be stupid.

Is it horror? Well, the R-rated "gore version" certainly is, and that's naturally the version we reviewed. But it's also a self-aware screwball comedy that is dated as hell in the most lovely way possible. Have a listen and see if you can log into Shudder or some other streaming service to watch this jaw-droppingly fun film. Then come back here and revisit it with us.

The god-awful yet fun and endearing Pieces even has a few actors we are familiar with, and some truly laugh-out-loud moments along with a moment or two of accidental brilliance. See it with friends, and listen to us pull it apart and put it back together.

As a creature feature with a lot going for it, it's a bit difficult to understand why it wasn't as well received in its day. Listen as we try to answer this question and throw in a few clips of Wilford Brimley's unmistakable voice.

She's not in it much, to be honest, but it was fun discussing this one nonetheless, and her brief performance in it. Hear our balanced take on one of Carpenter's more mainstream yet less successful films.

The Beach House is a Shudder streaming-service exclusive that came out last year but feels like it came out last month. A happy accident for a first time director and largely no-name cast, but not a happy watch for the rest of us. Our discussion gets a wee bit more philosophical and timely this week. If you haven't seen Ridley Scott's original Alien by now...well, we can probably forgive you. After all, its intense and exciting sequel (Aliens) is where most of us have spent the majority of our Alien-watching hours. Nevertheless, there is nothing to criticize about this incredible film, which set the stage for a franchise that shows no signs of stopping today. With one glance at the cast list, it should go without saying that this is an incredibly well-acted movie, and Ian Holm's powerful-yet-understated performance is among the top of the ensemble. We were sooo happy to finally have a good excuse to revisit this landmark film.

Oh boy, did this movie divide us. One loved it, one hated it. Listen for the good, bad and ugly, and lots of angry birds.

This is the story of divorce amidst a failing relationship, told with style and high-intensity and a very obtuse plotline. We often didn't know what to make of the goings-on, but we couldn't deny that this film unsettled us both, and that's a good thing. Have a listen.
