Sleepwalkers
06/12/2019 Duración: 01h02minWith early CGI morphing in all its glory, in-your-face incest, tons of celebrity cameos, and some fairly brutal violence, it doesn't hold much back. You just kinda wish it turned out better as a result.
-
Home Sweet Home
28/11/2019 Duración: 53minAnd it's a real turkey. But it does star Jake of "Body By Jake" fame! Where ya at, our 80's kids?
-
All Hallows' Eve
31/10/2019 Duración: 58minA gritty and not so great horror anthology redeems itself by the end, propelling its director straight into a career in filmmaking, and potentially bringing us a new horror icon to rival Jason and Freddy. Happy Halloween everyone!
-
Once Bitten
28/10/2019 Duración: 54minThis is Jim Carrey's big breakthrough - his first starring role as a frustrated teenage virgin who can't get his girlfriend to give it up, so he turns to a female vampire instead and gets more than he bargained for. It's goofy as hell and 80's through-and-through, which means we more or less loved it.

House of 1000 Corpses
08/10/2019 Duración: 54minWe're resurrecting Rob Zombie's first full-length feature film, House of 1000 Corpses, and tearing it limb from limb. But mostly we're enjoying Haig's turn as the wacky-yet-intimidating Captain Spaulding, the clown with a murder ride in his gas station. Fried chicken, anyone?
-
Ginger Snaps
03/10/2019 Duración: 57minWe love this Canadian teenage werewolf story from the early aughts. Happy Halloween season!
-
Braindead / Dead Alive
24/09/2019 Duración: 54minBraindead is often cited as the goriest film ever made, and it's hard to dispute. But it's a big favorite of Todd's, and a request from at least one of our listeners over the years. Enjoy!
-
Witchboard
20/09/2019 Duración: 01h01minWe always have fun on our show, but this week we had maybe even a little more fun than usual with this 80's cheesefest. Listen carefully for Craig's big reveal.

IT: Chapter One (2017)
27/08/2019 Duración: 01h08minThe second part to the story is set to release next week, a scant 29 years after the original miniseries scared our kid pants off. You may remember we did a two-part series of podcasts over that series and Tim Curry's legendary performance as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. We reference that project AND the book, of which all three of us are intimately familiar...but maybe not quite as familiar as Jordan, who is such a fan of King's novel that she bears a custom tattoo to commemorate its impact on her life. Thanks again, Jordan, for your request and your unique insight into this terrifying tale.

The Hitcher
08/08/2019 Duración: 53minHe passed away recently at the age of 75, but his legacy lives on in films such as Blade Runner and The Hitcher.

Interview: Linnea Quigley + Creepozoids
30/07/2019 Duración: 51minWe were honored to ask her about her experiences working on the low-budget horror features of the 80s and 90s, as well as her work with her personal passions such as animal rescue. Special thanks to Ms. Quigley for taking time out of her busy schedule to join us today! Also, we talked about Creepozoids.
-
The Deadly Spawn
17/07/2019 Duración: 58minThis homage to B-Movie sci-fi films of the 50s becomes the very definition of a "creature feature": An entire film centered gratuitously around a big, ugly monster and little else.

There's Nothing Out There
10/07/2019 Duración: 55minThere's Nothing Out There is an amateurish 80's movie that nevertheless was, in some ways, ahead of its time. But there's a lot of heart here, and some genuinely fun and funny moments. Directed by a 20 year-old from a script he wrote as a teenager, this week's movie was fun to watch and discuss.
-
Bone Tomahawk
02/07/2019 Duración: 57minWe were told this was a horror movie, although it's at least 70% straight Western. Which doesn't mean we didn't enjoy it. On the contrary, the star-studded cast and excellent writing made this a good watch and fine discussion.

Death House
25/06/2019 Duración: 58minWe didn't have a lot of good things to say about this disappointing outing, based on a script from the late Gunnar Hansen (Leatherface). A rousing game of "spot the celebrity" helps to pass the time, even as you consider what a waste it is to assemble so many horror icons for this nonsense.
