Episodios

  • Doctor Who Gives A Flux

    18/12/2021 Duración: 01h38min

Much like the latest season of Doctor Who itself, this episode of the podcast is long and rambling and has very shitty sound quality - more shitty than usual because Sean was Skyping via phone and I hadn't realized until after we finished recording that my mic wasn't plugged in, and all my audio was recorded by the built-in microphone in my Macbook.  So if you are easily offended by shitty audio quality as well as an honest and brutal critique of "Doctor Who: Flux", you probably shouldn't listen to this.  Happy Holidays! - JB

  • Trailer Trash and the Racist Booger Man

    23/10/2021 Duración: 02h11min

We talk trash about the trailer for "Doctor Who: Flux" before having trash thrown on us with the "randomly" picked Classic Who story "Time Flight" for this month's commentary.  After sitting thru that monstrosity, we're taking a month off and will return to review all of Series 13 in one go.  See you on the other side...

  • The Bitch is Back

    28/09/2021 Duración: 49min

JB, Sean & Chris get together on a Monday night to discuss the news of Russell T Davies’ return as Doctor Who show-runner.

  • Binro Was Drunk

    11/09/2021 Duración: 02h04min

Our very first attempt at doing a Classic Doctor Who commentary pretty much goes off the rails, but if you enjoy hanging out with your drunk friends while watching Doctor Who, this is the next best thing. We talk our way thru “The Ribos Operation”. Hopefully next month we’ll have new episodes to talk about if the BBC can be arsed to schedule them.

  • Whittaker Away (Goodbye Mr. Chibbs)

    31/07/2021 Duración: 01h05min

It’s a good thing we waited until the end of the month to record as we had a lot to talk about, although I still was able to edit this down to just an hour and change. We discuss the news of Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall leaving Doctor Who in 2022, we debate whether or not the show should continue, and we also fit some discussion on the Kevin Smith/Masters of the Universe controversy. - JB

  • Sean's Chicago Stories (Bonus Track)

    31/07/2021 Duración: 02min

While attempting to cheer up Chris over the fate of his beloved Cubs, Sean tells a heartwarming story about his father which soon takes a dark turn.

  • The Slash

    26/06/2021 Duración: 59min

We really had to trim the fat on this recording in order to spare you all from endless conversations about “Inside Number 9”, “Are You Being Served” and “Blake’s 7” so that you get almost a solid hour of mostly Doctor Who discussion. As always, listener’s discretion is highly advised. TOPICS INCLUDE: Tony Selby is not dead, a few words on Jackie Lane (who is dead … as a Dodo), misremembering which boy band was in that BBC 50th Anniversary thing, watching Doctor Who on Pluto TV, the time JB forced his family to watch “Inferno” on a snow day, the Doctor as Big Brother, we’re still pretty sure Jodie is leaving the show, “The Flash” is not as good as it used to be, the cover of the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine, trolling the shippers, diving into the world of online Doctor Who slash fiction, the recent Batman story that JB can’t talk about on his PG-rated Batman podcast, Chris reviews Eccleston in Big Finish, Capaldi’s curtain call, we’re Americans so we’re going to spend a few minutes talking about gun vio

  • Cat Flap

    16/05/2021 Duración: 01h11min

We couldn’t avoid discussing the whole Noel Clarke and John Barrowman scandal, especially as WE WERE THERE FIRST with breaking the Chicago TARDIS clip six months before it went viral! We also talk about “The Key to Time” for a bit, but finding nothing else good in the Doctor Who world to discuss, we end up talking about our cats.

  • "David Tennant with T*ts"

    17/04/2021 Duración: 01h20min

We go back without a game plan to our drunken ramblings this month. Topics include: the final results of our Tournament of One-Shot Doctor Who Villains, news of the upcoming series being centered around Liverpool, meeting the new companion’s parents (again!), the Big Finish spoiler of the week, a quickie review of the Lost Stories audio “Return of the Cybermen”, how the Hartnell era took the most chances, Vickie > Susan, dinner with the Pertwee’s, Tom Baker in “Remington Steele”, what the cool kids were watching in the 1980s, interrupted by baseball, “is the caller there?”, Steven King’s son getting rejected by the BBC, the Token Doctor, a round of Doctor Who Mad Libs, Danny Puce, ingrown toenails, Fentanyl, “Because We Want To” by Billie Piper.

  • March Badness

    27/03/2021 Duración: 01h55min

We’re a few weeks late dropping this episode as we’ve been busy getting and recovering from our Covid-19 vaccinations, but we’re back talking Doctor Who. This month we let loose 32 of the most infamous one-shot villains in a tournament to see which one will come up on top. We whittle it down to 16, and you can find us on Twitter to vote for your favorite one-shot villains in the next round. We also read a piece of fan mail and give our latest Netflix suggestions.

  • No Clever Title - We Rank The Doctors

    06/02/2021 Duración: 02h09min

Depressed over Gallifrey One being cancelled due to Covid-19? Got two hours and change to kill? Listen in as JB, Sean & Chris rank ALL 14 Doctors for the ULTIMATE Doctor Who ranking. They also get into geek TV FOMO, the Series 24 Blu-Ray infomercial, and the usual bitching about Big Finish replacing dead actors.

  • ADAB

    10/01/2021 Duración: 01h04min

I’m very surprised I was able to put together a cohesive edit out of this month’s drunken ramblings. It’s the last time I’ll have four shots of Bacardi mixed with Coca-Cola before recording a podcast, cause I get really shouty again. I blame this week’s insurrection. Anyway, Chris, Sean and I review “Revolution of the Daleks” and discuss the rumors about Jodie Whittaker leaving the series and a new companion joining. Please drink responsibly. - JB

  • The Doctor Who Gives A F*ck Xmas Special

    06/12/2020 Duración: 01h58min

This month the podcast has the most Doctor Who content it’s had in a good long while as JB, Sean and Chris rank and review ALL 13 Doctor Who Christmas Specials from the modern era. They also speculate about what we’ll see in the upcoming New Years Day episode “Revolution of the Daleks”. Also, JB finally started watching “The Mandalorian” and Sean records his real-time reaction to the Dalek YouTube videos. WARNING: this episode contains callbacks to jokes that were edited out of the podcast. Happy holidays!

  • Trials and Triple Libations

    18/07/2020 Duración: 01h19min

JB, Chris & Sean take turns acting as prosecutor, defender and judge as they place a handful of Doctor Who stories on trial. This is probably the crudest episode we’re recorded thus far from beginning to end, so we apologize in advance. TODAY’S (randomly picked) TRIAL DOCKET: “Listen”, “The Rescue”, “The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood”, and “The End of Time, Parts 1 & 2”.

  • The Chicken Soup of Doom

    20/06/2020 Duración: 01h08min

Hey, it’s JB. Chris, Sean and I went almost three hours recording this one. We were really inebriated and got into a very cathartic and politically charged discussion, most of which you’re NOT going to hear. I’m lucky I got an hour of usable material for this episode. Please forgive the audio levels. I promise to be the designated driver next time we record an episode, cause I get really fucking loud in this.
