Who 37 - A Doctor Who Podcast

Much like the latest season of Doctor Who itself, this episode of the podcast is long and rambling and has very shitty sound quality - more shitty than usual because Sean was Skyping via phone and I hadn't realized until after we finished recording that my mic wasn't plugged in, and all my audio was recorded by the built-in microphone in my Macbook.  So if you are easily offended by shitty audio quality as well as an honest and brutal critique of "Doctor Who: Flux", you probably shouldn't listen to this.  Happy Holidays! - JB

We talk trash about the trailer for "Doctor Who: Flux" before having trash thrown on us with the "randomly" picked Classic Who story "Time Flight" for this month's commentary.  After sitting thru that monstrosity, we're taking a month off and will return to review all of Series 13 in one go.  See you on the other side...

JB, Sean & Chris get together on a Monday night to discuss the news of Russell T Davies’ return as Doctor Who show-runner.

Our very first attempt at doing a Classic Doctor Who commentary pretty much goes off the rails, but if you enjoy hanging out with your drunk friends while watching Doctor Who, this is the next best thing. We talk our way thru “The Ribos Operation”. Hopefully next month we’ll have new episodes to talk about if the BBC can be arsed to schedule them.

It’s a good thing we waited until the end of the month to record as we had a lot to talk about, although I still was able to edit this down to just an hour and change. We discuss the news of Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall leaving Doctor Who in 2022, we debate whether or not the show should continue, and we also fit some discussion on the Kevin Smith/Masters of the Universe controversy. - JB

We couldn’t avoid discussing the whole Noel Clarke and John Barrowman scandal, especially as WE WERE THERE FIRST with breaking the Chicago TARDIS clip six months before it went viral! We also talk about “The Key to Time” for a bit, but finding nothing else good in the Doctor Who world to discuss, we end up talking about our cats.

We go back without a game plan to our drunken ramblings this month.
