There are a lot of things the book of Hebrews could have told us to watch out for that would hinder us receiving the promises of God---but what happened to the first generation of Israelites that were delivered from Egypt is what we are warned to watch out for. From the foundation of the world, God had a land, hand-picked and prepared for them. It was the plan of God--the will of God--for these people to go into this specific land--at this specific time--yet they failed to do so. They had already come through a lot of adversity and hardship and they were so close---what happened?

From the very beginning, God intended to be the provider for mankind. It was never His will for man to provide for himself. When Adam disobeyed God---he not only severed his spiritual connection with God---he also severed his PROVISION from God. From that point onward---man has toiled to provide for himself. As believers we are not meant to be "working for a living." We are to be working at our assignment on the earth---and God's provision intersects us as we are obedient to stay on the path He has for us. Our God is Jehovah-Jireh----the one who sees and provides. God is the God who sees ahead---and knows what is going to come up---and knows what you are going to need---and sets it in motion to meet you when you get there. He’s our provider.

There are numerous references in the Bible to the Holy Spirit, angels, the devil and demons. Jesus gave the original 12 disciples and 70 other disciples authority over the devil, all demons and all disease and sent them out. When they returned, they were not scared. They were excited that the devil and diseases were subject to them as a representative of Jesus. Satan is not the evil opposite of God. He is not the big-shot he portrays himself to be. He is a fallen angel, stripped of all authority by Jesus. All principalities and powers have been put under our feet (Ephesians 1:20-23). Any thing that is depressive, deceptive, defeating, leading to loss--these thoughts and suggestions are from the devil, but when we resist him--he has to run from us (James 4:7). It is possible for Christians and even church leaders to yield to wrong spirits. One of the most important things for Christians to learn is what to yield to--and what to resist.

According to John chapter 6, the healing of diseases and supernatural provision are both classified as miracles or a sign. Even though the Bible talks as much about God's willingness as it does His ability, many Christians are still not convinced that He is able to provide the impossible. In this session, we see how Abraham and Job both became convinced that God would come through for them.

Jesus left the earth fully expecting His followers to carry on His ministry, which included exercising authority and power over demonic influences and diseases. This authority and power was not just for the original twelve disciples nor the additional seventy that He sent out. It is for every born-again child of God. Learn how to apply your God-given authority on the earth and experience the same results Jesus did.

--Satan knows when the Body of Christ is properly funded, it is going to be the end of the kingdom of darkness. --Satan has deceived Christians into believing that there is insufficiency in the world and that we must live all of our lives in that insufficiency. --How much wealth is in the world? --Scriptural evidence for this transfer of wealth. --Previous wealth transfers in the Bible.

--Satan's battle plan of containment against the Body of Christ. --It is God's intention that we control the wealth of this world. --The power to get wealth goes beyond our personal motives. --What God expects from us.
