2,000 years ago, the time came for God to unveil His great plan for saving humanity. We see two people saying yes—to God and to one another. What does this 'Yes' mean for us today?

Babies and baby showers are great but babies grow up to fulfil their destiny.

Does is really matter what we say? Do my words really come from what is in my heart and out of what I believe?? 'For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.' the Word says. What were the first things God said to Adam and Eve? He declared and he blessed, I'm thinking we should follow His lead.

We are to be people brimming with hope in all situations.

Nehemiah reveals a biblical truth. The joy of the Lord is our strength or said another way, our strength comes from our Joy in God. But how do we develop it and grow its capacity, and how can a God focussed, enthusiasm and optimism for life help us to live well and fulfill God's plans?

Joshua taking the people into the 'Promised Land' represents aspects of God taking each of us into our own personal 'promised land'. However in the promised land are giants! So many Christians live 'sub par' today..... not fully inheriting their promises from God due to giants in and around their lives. Too many of us have forgotten that we have to 'fight' for every new promise God has for us.

Kim is the Regional Leader for our Baptist movement in Canterbury, previous to that he was the Pastor of Lincoln Baptist Church for 17 years. He also led Tori Taylor (Bart and Tori) to the Lord while doing premarriage counseling for them. He is among other things going to be encouraging us with our friendship of prechristians, and sharing our story about Jesus with them. This will be a morning to remember.

Jesus was loved and accepted by people who were quite worldly (sinners), but he was loathed and rejected by the religious! Often today people in the church have it the other way around.... we're comfortable and accepting of the religious, those who appear to have it together, but don't have time or interest or compassion for those who are messy and (perhaps) sinful. How can we become more like Jesus?

This one powerful word sums up the New Testament era but how do we get it working and increasing in our lives.

People often perceive God to be angry and quick to punish us. Nothing could be further from the truth. Come and hear how obsessive about you and me, he really is. Don't confuse the work of the devil, and the selfishness and greed of people that causes so much harm in this world with the activity of God. He is magnificent.
