Erich Rogers and Paul Eaves picked up their second California Rodeo Salinas titles Sunday, July 21, 2024, with a 46.5 on five steers. All in all they pocketed $10,946 a man to push to No. 15 and 16 in the world standings. Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira added a new title to their resumes, picking up their first national circuit titles winning the 2024 NFR Open July 13. He met the U.S. trainer Laurie Falvo in Germany who invited him to work at her barn in San Diego in the summer of 1984. Captivated by the lifestyle and weather, Steffen made a life changing choice and moved to San Diego where he still resides today with his wife Shannon, an accomplished Grand Prix rider and trainer in her own right. He became a U.S. citizen in 1992 and rode in his first of five Olympic games in 1996.
