Coffeehouse Questions With Ryan Pauly

Ryan recently got back from leading his first Maven Immersive Experience to Utah. He had a great time with a group of students and leaders from South Dakota for six days. They spent time at Temple Square, BYU, and other locations. In this show, Ryan goes over the MAVEN trip and share tips from four conversations he had with Mormons in Utah.

Ryan looks at cultural issues like evolution, abortion, marriage, creation, and the resurrection in order to show you how a worldview can change everything. Hopefully by asking the right questions you can help uncover the worldview bias.

This week focuses on listener questions submitted in a recent Instagram poll. 1) How was Satan able to be in God's presence in the book of Job? 2) Who's the cute girl in the pic? 3) What has God taught you this past week? 4) Would you live internationally again given the chance? Ryan then finishes the show by discussing a recent article on marriage and the main question you should focus on.

Krista Bontrager and I finished our discussion from last week on the global vs local flood. We then looked at whether or not there was death before the fall.

The universal or global flood view seems to be the most common view among Christians. However, it is possible to keep a high view of scripture and believe in a local flood. Krista Bontrager from Reasons to believe joined me this week to discuss how that is possible.
