As a serving officer for Northumbria Police, Peter explained to his sons that one of the sources of help could come from Care Of Police Survivors (COPS). COPS is a UK registered charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers who have lost their lives on duty. Adam and Luke responded by writing a song to raise money for the charity. That song is now available for download from reputable sources. Peter, Luke and Adam told their story to Gary Burgham on The Saturday Breakfast Programme.
