Climate Alarmist Messaging Decoded: Lies Work
01/07/2024 Duración: 01h13minA very telling exposé of a meeting between leading "climate communicators" appeared on Twitter last week. In it, pictures of a slideshow mentioned things like: "Worst messages tested: electric cars, Green New Deal, frontline communities, 'Big Oil lied', and climate pollution." Essentially, the meeting described why climate alarmists have failed to capture the public’s attention with their messages. What they discovered is that lies work better than facts!Steve Milloy of junkscience.com will join us for commentary, as he’s been following and debunking these lies for years. We'll also discuss the revelations of SCOTUS knocking down the Chevron doctrine and what that means for environment and climate, plus we'll examine what happened on climate in the presidential debate.

Climate Alarmism & Anti-Humanism - In The Tank #454
20/06/2024 Duración: 01h14minThe Heartland Institute’s Donald Kendal and Justin Haskins present episode 454 of the In The Tank Podcast. The climate alarmist narrative is one underpinned by varying groups with specific special interests. There are the politicians who use climate alarm to justify enhanced powers, there are the businesses and firms that use climate alarm to pad their bottom lines, there are the activists that use climate alarm to gain clout, and there are the those that use climate alarm to justify an anti-humanist agenda. While all these groups help prop up the same climate narrative, they all are doing so for different reasons. On this week's episode, we are going to take a look at that last group on the list - the anti-humanists. Heatwave Alarm Season is Here, Same Old Climate Claims, Different Year – The Climate Realism Show #114
14/06/2024 Duración: 01h05minYes, it’s that time again kids, panic the American people over heat waves by blaming them on climate change. This past week several news outlets talked about the “Western Heat Wave” and tried to link it to “climate change.” Climate Central was the source of most of these stories with a press release that said:“Between June 5-7, much of the Western United States, Mexico, and Eastern Canada are poised to experience a period of unusually hot conditions made much more likely because of human-caused climate change. During this period, over 229 million people across North America will experience extreme heat made at least three times more likely because of human-caused climate change.”We see this every year, and we’ll see it again this year as the feckless media regurgitates the heatwave hype. We will tackle this subject, as well as go over the Crazy Climate News of the Week. Tune in LIVE for the stream at 1 p.m. ET (noon CT) EVERY FRIDAY to watch the show and leave your own questions in the chat with host Anthony W

WARNING! Radical New EU Law to Fundamentally Transform America - In The Tank #453
13/06/2024 Duración: 01h17minThe Heartland Institute’s Donald Kendal, Jim Lakely, Justin Haksins, and Chris Talgo present episode 453 of the In The Tank Podcast. The European Union recently passed a law that would essentially mandate many of the guidelines and metrics of the ESG scheme we have talked much about on this show. You might ask, "Who cares about Europe?" Unfortunately, the way this Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive is written, it has the potential to fundamentally transform the way businesses around the world operate. It is imperative we get this message out to the public and to lawmakers to protect America from this dangerous law.PRIMARY TOPIC - RADICAL NEW EU LAW WILL FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM AMERICA Fox News - Europe is hell bent on forcing US companies to go woke and it has a new law to do just thathttps://www.foxnews.com/opinion/europe-hell-bent-forcing-us-companies-woke-has-new-law-just Western Journal - Europe Just Approved the Worst Communist Law Ever - How It Affects Youhttps://www.westernjournal.com/eur

Creation of "chief heat officers" in Arizona
11/06/2024 Duración: 33minPhoenix is hiring a "Chief Heat Officer," in response to rising heat related deaths, which the city blames on climate change. The truth is most of those dying are homeless or drug addicts with underlying health conditions, people already in poor health. As far as Phoenix's heat, that is due, not to climate change but the city's massive growth and related increased Urban Heat Island effect. Responding to homelessness and drug use will do far more to prevent premature deaths in Phoenix than efforts to fight climate change or control the weather.

Can America Escape the European Union's ESG Scheme?
10/06/2024 Duración: 22minThe other day, Donald Kendal, director of the Socialism Research Center at The Heartland Institute, joined The Shaun Thompson Show to talk about the European Union's new ESG scheme. The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive would mandate a whole host of ESG-like guidelines on businesses and industries in the EU. More importantly, because of the way the legislation was crafted, businesses, both large and small, here in the United States would be subject to the CSDDD mandates, too. Have a listen.

Attacks on Actual Temperature Data – The Climate Realism Show #113 (Guest: Tony Heller)
08/06/2024 Duración: 01h35minThe Heartland Institute has issued a report exposing the US government’s official land-based temperature stations as hopelessly corrupt and compromised. The study, conducted by Heartland Senior Fellow Anthony Watts – an update on a previous examination of temperature stations in 2009 – was the subject of a hit-piece by Scott Waldman of E&E News and POLITICO titled “Climate denial group wants to subvert NOAA data with its own: The Heartland Institute seeks to build da nationwide network of temperature-monitoring stations.”Well, yes we do. And we’re doing it because too many of NOAA’s historic stations are either captured by sprawl and the urban heat-island effect, in such terrible shape that they should not be relied upon for accurate data, or not even operable at all or broken – and in those cases, NOAA just makes a guess as to the temperature. That is problematic, to say the least, since temperature readings from these crappy stations is used to panic the American people, continually, by telling them tha
